When do I need to make a reservation for the hotel room?
A hotel room deposit is required by the hotel for one night's rate to confirm your reservation. The deposit is refundable if cancellation is made by Sept 8, 2010, less $10 processing fee.
We have secured a limited number of rooms for our event. Please reserve your room by Sept 8th. After Sept 8th, the rooms will be released to the public, and it will be on a first come, first served basis.
What is the hotel cost for rooms and meals?
Single Occupancy Rate
$260 per night, plus (state tax 7.5% and service charge 15%) = $318 total per night x 3 nights = $955.50 (plus the seminar fee)
Double Occupancy Rate
$180 per night, per person, plus (state tax 7.5% and service charge 15%)= $220.50 total per night x 3 nights = $661.50 per person (plus the seminar fee)
Triple Occupancy Rate
$143.34 per night, per person, plus (state tax 7.5% and service charge 15%)= $175.59 total per night x 3 nights= $526.77 per person (plus the seminar fee)
If I choose to room with someone, how do I get a roommate?
We ask that you locate your own roommate and book together. If you can't locate a roommate, you may send an email to Alakesh at alakesh@pillaicenter.com or call at (646) 505-0580, and we will try our best to find you a roommate, but there are no guarantees. If we are unable to locate a roommate for you, you may end up having to pay for a single occupancy room.
How do I make a reservation with the hotel?

What do I do once I arrive at the hotel?
Check-in at the counter to your right. We will have a table in the main lobby to greet and orient you with the facilities. The greeting table will be available from 12 noon to 6pm on Friday, Oct 8th. After that time, just proceed with your check-in and join us for dinner in the main restaurant. The conference with Baba will be after dinner.
Do I need to tip anyone at the hotel?
All tips are included in the price.
Transportation
You are responsible for transportation to the event. Skytop Lodge offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the Mount Pocono, PA Bus Terminal. If arriving by bus from NYC or any other location that drops you off at the Pocono Mountain station please call the hotel to let them know the time you are arrive. Guests must make arrangements with the hotel for shuttle service in advance.
For traveling direction to the venue, please go to this site: www.skytop.com/map-directions/index.cfm The site lists driving directions and public transportation to the Skytop Lodge from various states. It also lists the nearest airport.
From NYC, it's best to take the bus to the Pocono Mountains Station from the Port Authority. It's a two hour ride, $69 round trip. The hotel will arrange for a free shuttle to take our guests from the Pocono Mountains bus station to the hotel which is approximately a 20 minutes ride.
