Spread over an area of four acres, this huge rock was built in the memory of the renowned spiritual teacher Swami Vivekananda who is said to have meditated for three days and attained enlightenment here. The merger of the three seas - Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea, and Indian Ocean - can be seen from the rock. Also, there is a spot where the footprint of Devi Kumari (or the Virgin Goddess) can be seen on the rock; it is believed that the Goddess did severe penance here. A shrine known as Sripada Parai (Pada is feet, and Parai is rock) Mandapam has been built at that spot.

We will bathe in the karma-cleansing waterfall to wash away our sins on the most powerful day to erase karma, Pradosham.

Journey to the magnificent Murugan beach temple at Tiruchendur on the shores of the tempestuous and sometimes blood-red waters. We will bathe in the sea as guided by the Siva Jeeva Nadi that predicted that all should go to Tiruchendur to bathe in the waters and erase their financial karma and other negativities. Communing at this temple will bring money as well.

On Vishnupati, one of the most powerful days of the year to receive a money miracle, we visit the vortexes with the greatest wealth energies:
Sri Vaikuntham- Vishnu came from his abode Vaikuntham to kill the demon who stole the Vedas and returned the Vedas to Brahma.
Natham-Varagunamangai- Long ago, a fisherman, who used to earn his livelihood by killing fishes, got all his sins wiped clean and attained Heaven by virtue of his death at this holy place.
Thirupulingudi- Once, Lord Vishnu and his consort Sri Devi (Lakshmi) were so enchanted by the beauty of this place that they stayed on here. This annoyed the other consort Bhoo Devi; the earth (bhoomi) became dark and dry as she left for Pathala Loka. Responding to the pleas of the Gods, Vishnu brought back Bhoo Devi and gave ‘darshan’ here with both the consorts.
Thiru Tholaivillimangalam- This is the place where sage Suprapar performed a yaga (fire ritual) for Devas (gods) and prayed to Lord Vishnu.
Thiru Kulandai-Perungulam- Once, a Brahmin Vedasaran and his wife Kumuda Valli were blessed with a girl child called Kamalavathi. Since childhood, the girl had an overriding desire to marry none other than Lord Vishnu himself. Soon, she performed severe penance. Vishnu came to her and granted her wish by placing her along with the Kousthaba Mani (priceless gem) on his chest.
Then Thiru Perai- Once, Sri Devi (Lakshmi) complained to sage Duruvasa about Lord Vishnu’s preference for Bhoo Devi. She requested the sage to bless her with the colour and body of Bhoo Devi, and vice versa. The sage agreed; he visited Bhoo Devi who was so engrossed with the Lord that she could not welcome the sage. The sage cursed her to assume the colour and body of Sri Devi. Thereafter, she performed penance to Vishnu and took purificatory bath in the river in Sri Devi’s form.
Thirukkolur- Once, Kubera, the Lord of Wealth, had angered Goddess Parvati and was cursed by her to lose the Nava Nidhis (9 types of wealth). The Nava Nidhis sought Lord Vishnu’s protection here.
Alwar Thiru Nagari- Nammalvar, one of the greatest Vaishnavite saints, attained salvation here. Whoever is fortunate to breathe his last here, is assured of salvation, irrespective of his past sins
Thirutholai Villi Mangalam- Once, sage Suprapar was clearing the land to perform a yaga (fire ritual). He unearthed a balance (Tharasu) and a bow (Vil). The moment he touched them, they turned into a young woman and a man respectively. They said that their names were Thulai and Villi, and due to a sin committed against Lord Kubera, they were cursed.

Suchindram is the place of Dattatreya´s incarnation. Dr. Pillai has chosen to visit the temple here to remember his own incarnation as Dattatreya, the supreme guru who embodied the powers of creation, maintenance and dissolution. Hanuman, the archetypal being for ultimate power and courage, is here in a 45 foot majestic statue.
