Vishnupati is a divine time capsule, when money miracles happen.
Vishnu is an archetype of the Vedic Hindu Pantheon. He is the preserver and sustainer of life. He is represented with characteristics of righteousness, truth, principles of order and his steadfastness. He is the archetype of material gains, along with his consort Lakshmi; he is the supporter and sustainer of the material and spiritual worlds, representing a 200% life.
Vishnupati is one of the four times in year, when Vishnu grants boons of wealth, abundance and material success to all those who sincerely seek his grace and blessings.
You only get four of these opportunities a year to increase abundant merit for material blessings through Vishnu. Even the divine beings eagerly wait for this time period to realize unlimited benefits. Vishnupati is one of the best times for giving to charity, feeding those in need, doing rituals, poojas, tarpan and also singing praises to God. Divine blessings from Vishnu are more readily available during Vishnupati to grant your requests. Sincere prayers speak volumes to the Divine, but saying them at the optimal time increases the effectiveness.
According to the Siddhas (powerful yogis), the poojas done during Vishnupati are equivalent to several years of 11th Moon (Ekadasi) poojas(the 11th Moon is ausp[icious for Vishnu). That is, the power and merit available on this particular day, for a limited amount of timer has exponential benefits.
On the Vishnupati day, it is beneficial to chant prosperity mantras to reset your money karma to that of abundant prosperity. It is also an optimal time to offer prayers to your ancestors so that they bless you with all the good things in life. Blessings from you ancestors can put you on a "fast path" to wealth and material success.

"A Miracle is an abnormal or supernormal happening that comes through faith. Faith is not simply a religious or philosophical concept or proposition. Faith, in my definition, means utter positivity without any doubt." - Dr. Pillai
