Live Your Ideal 2017: 3 Easy Steps to (Actually) Manifesting Your New Year’s Resolutions

Live Your Ideal 2017: 3 Easy Steps to (Actually) Manifesting Your New Year’s Resolutions

Have you ever sworn by your New Year’s resolutions and yet failed? Do you remember all the hopes and expectations you poured into your plans, only to find yourself back where you started at year end? If yes, you’re not alone. In fact, according to a Statistic Brain Research Institute survey, only 41 percent of US citizens make New Year’s resolutions—9 percent of whom actually experience the self-improvement, weight loss, and better finances they set out to get. Apparently, working on the self to become a better, smarter person, acquiring a slimmer body, and making better financial decisions were the top three most frequently made resolutions in the USA in 2016. So while you’re meditating on the reasons for your own missed 2016 goals, you’re perhaps realizing that you could have used more support and help than you thought. And that’s why better eating habits, a consistent workout routine, regular meditation, and a higher income have remained remote. There’s no need to feel guilty, though—because as both modern psychologists and spiritual masters will tell you, guilt is a waste of time. Understanding what went wrong, asking for help and renewing your resolve are much better solutions. So will you take this opportunity for a totally clean slate to find your true passions, ban your fears and live a much more joyful life in 2017? If these are your resolutions, you might finally get all the support and knowledge you need through some spiritual solutions. For over three decades, Dr. Pillai has been blending his traditional meditation teachings with new discoveries in neuroscience. Some of his new revelations...

Sun Enters Libra

Sun transits into Libra on Sunday, October 16th and will continue there until November 15, 2016. The Sun signifies your physical health, vitality, self-esteem, father, and even your soul. Sun doesn’t feel comfortable in Libra. It is his debilitation or lowest power position. It’s like he falls down to earth during this month. The good thing is that this is an opportunity to get to know Sun more and build a better relationship with him. Libra is an air sign ruled by Venus. Venus is a luxury-loving planet of love, beauty, the Goddess, and the arts. And wealth. Libra can bring blessings of being popular, peace-loving, and having harmonious relationships with others. Libra is called Tula in Sanskrit. Libra is a sign of harmony and balance. Libra’s symbol is a man in a bazaar, or open-air market, with a scale in his hand. The symbol shows how Libra energies support business, negotiation, and finding balance. This can mean finding win-win solutions that benefit everyone, being successful in business – putting together a good deal, and being diplomatic. As the natural 7th house of the zodiac, Libra is all about creating and maintaining relationships. This involves compromise and balancing the needs of each person involved. Learning to stay balanced is a big theme. Libra is the halfway point through the zodiac. Libra can also lead you to develop a strong relationship with the Divine through love and devotion. But don’t try to please everyone, or compromise your core values too much. In negotiation, you have to know what the minimum deal that would be workable for you and be able...

Continue to Reap the Benefits of the Goddess

This past week we have been immersed in the energy of the Goddess.  It may not have been all been sweetness and light!  Some of us have been slammed with all sorts of energies that may have been less than positive.  This could be the releasing of negative energies that have been brought to the surface by the grace of the Goddesses.  Dr. Pillai teaches us that we can change our destiny by changing our karma.  Karma is simply thoughts.  Our own karma is a collection of all the thoughts that we are having or have had (in this life and all the past lives!).  If we do nothing, our karma just continues to act itself out.  If we use Dr. Pillai’s tools and techniques, we can jump off this merry-go-round of cause and effect, and begin to manifest exactly what we want, regardless of the path our karma has been taking us down. Sucharita tells us if we feel lost and stuck when we wake up in the morning, just say a mantra.  Just chant “Gum Gum Gum” which is Ganesha’s seed sound, before you even get off the bed. This will start the energy of Ganesha immediately and set the tone for the day.  Ganesha is the Remover of all Obstacles, seen or unseen, so we will be getting off on the right foot!  Important Upcoming Events: Navaratri or Nine Nights of the Goddess – Oct 1– 10, 2016 Dr. Pillai has designated 10 different Goddesses (in addition to Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati) to propitiate during this event-one for each day.  Today, Sunday Oct. 9, is the...

Welcome the Goddesses!

The Goddess energy needs to be woken up inside of all of us, men and women. This is a time to clean up everything in our lives! Clean your office, bedroom, workspace, (every place, including our minds!) because clutter causes blockages.  All those old things that we have held onto for years and decades have memories (karma) attached to them so this is the time to get rid of them.  Don’t continually go through your garbage, examining it…Just take it out to the curb and let it go!  The Goddess energy is the energy that is caring and wants to create comfort and abundance in our lives. This is the motherly unconditional love that we all desire. The first three nights are for Durga (energy and power), 2nd three nights are for Lakshmi (abundance) and the 3rd three nights are for Saraswati (wisdom).  Sucharita talked five things that encompass our lives-Time, Energy, Money, Karma and Thought. We need to get control of those things and then we will finally have control of our lives.  We do this by doing our spiritual practices faithfully each day and then we will be bathed in our own Divinity. Important Upcoming Events: Navaratri or Nine Nights of the Goddess – Oct 1– 9, 2016 Dr. Pillai has designated 10 different Goddesses (in addition to Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati) to propitiate during this event-one for each day.  Today, Sunday Oct. 2, is the 2nd night of Navaratri.  The 2nd Goddess is Tara – ‘Tara’ in Sanskrit means ‘to Transcend’. Goddess Tara is the deliverer and savior to take us through any difficult situation. This...

Ancestor Adventures Continue

We may especially need help with balance during this two week period called Mahalaya or the time that the ancestors are close to the earth plane.  The ancestors can upset or bother us at this time so we have to continue to offer the tarpanam to them. Learn how. AstroVed and Pillai Center are still offering services for the last half of this time period. Learn more. Sucharita gave us lively insights on the Mahalaya Paksha. Sucharita tells us to pay attention to signs that come to us from other dimensions.  Be aware that the ancestors are constantly trying to thwart us in our forward progress.  They want to be fed!  And they will bother us until we pay attention to them. Navaratri or the Nine Nights of the Goddess is coming up.  She tells us that the Goddess energy needs to be woken up inside of all of us, both men and women.  Read about this event in the “Upcoming Events” section below.  The Goddess energy is the energy that is caring and wants to create comfort and abundance in our lives.
