The ideal candidate will work closely with the management, content, and creative teams to help setup objectives, key performance indicators, targets, as well as optimization plan to help support marketing efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities

Primary duties and responsibilities, not limited to:

  • Developing an integrated social strategy and execution plan and timeline according to business priorities
  • Applying analytics to better profile, target and re-target prospects, adapting social campaigns to deliver higher quality responses and improve conversions rates
  • Setting standards and leading an integrated social team of specialists in program marketing, content marketing, campaign and events planning.
  • Create routine reports on the success and status of social-media channels
  • Work with other members of the Digital Marketing team in ensuring we’re all working towards a common goal and to bridge work-gaps in the department when necessary.
  • Make competent creative decisions; double-check all work for factual or grammatical errors.
  • Be self-reliant and able to implement and manage tasks independently.

Qualifications

Required:

As our Social Media Manager, your mission will be to develop and implement marketing strategies for Pillai Center’s social media sites. You will leverage your hands-on experience to tailor tone, style, structure, and voice across multiple social media marketing outlets.

You will also be responsible for regularly evaluating the success of your marketing efforts and tweaking your marketing strategy as needed.

We are looking for someone especially versed in Facebook. You should know the ins and outs of FB, how to review analytics, what apps we can use to further enhance our ability to leverage FB contacts/followers.

Position Summary

We are looking for a creative, experienced and strategic individual to help manage and support our already very successful YouTube channel. Dr. Pillai has created a big presence for himself through YouTube and we want to make sure that the channel is being optimized and being run in alignment with the ethos of our brand as it develops.

You would start with a very detailed analysis of our current channel and a detailed proposal of how it can be improved across all areas. (This will be a flat-fee arrangement and then maintenance will be paid hourly after this). You should be able to show your experience managing YouTube channels and have knowledge of how to strategically improve our channel and branding to raise awareness of what our company is doing and drive more traffic to our channel.

We would like someone who is an expert at YouTube analytics, meta text descriptions, titles, keywords, annotations and all aspects of the YouTube CMS.

 

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the primary manager of our YouTube channel: Channel strategy – increase subscribers/followers to the channel; raise visibility and credibility of the channel. (You will work with someone who already does a lot of admin on the channel but you will bring expert knowledge to compliment her dedication to administration.)
  • Before all videos are published on YouTube: enter in the meta text descriptions, titles, keywords and annotations for each video
  • Add meta text descriptions, titles, keywords and annotations to ALL EXISTING YouTube videos currently playing on the channel.
  • Google Adwords/SEO Optimization: do the keywords, links, work with someone to do the Annotations (Annotations are extremely important and tie into Video ads), someone to continually update the lists.
  • Google+ Outreach: keep up with the YouTube Top Fans, create the articles on the Google+ pages, create and change the banners weekly.
  • Strategize and keep abreast of YouTube changes and opportunities. This is extremely important. Also, interact at high level with YouTube education channels, get publicity.
  • Function as the primary liaison between the channel and YouTube to manage the monetization of video inventory.
  • Diligently follow YouTube rules/regulations.

Work will be ongoing but will start somewhere around 10-15 hours a week – we are open to discussing a flat monthly rate to cover all responsibilities as listed but you will be required to show reports on your achievements and will be managed by our Project Manager.
