This Interactive Fire Lab will be performed to honor Andal, the only female among the famous 12 Alvars, a set of Tamil poet-saints revered for their immersion in the depths of enjoyment of God and their ability to express this in lyrical verse. Andal is known for her intensely emotional bhakti (love of the Divine). Her exquisite poems celebrate unconditional surrender to the divine and receiving refuge at the Lord’s feet.
On this day, the Moon will be in Purva Phalguni, the so-called “party star” ruled by Venus releasing energies of merry-making and joy. These elements combine on this day to make it easy for you to access blessings for unconditional love and imperishable joy and happiness throughout your life.
