  5. A Look Ahead For...

[Note: The dates in this blog for June 2022 are based on North America timings. Dates may be the same or different in other parts of the world, such as Asia.]

When June 2022 begins, the Sun is still in Taurus where he remains until mid-June. The Sun in Taurus supports stable energies for getting grounded. Taurus is an Earth energy sign so this is a good time to reconnect consciously with Earth energy and become more realistic. The Sun’s passage through Taurus lights up the topic of finance for many people.  The Sun in Taurus is a good window of opportunity to double check that we are handling our finances and material concerns with proper care and positive attitude. The Sun in Taurus can help us clean up negative thinking toward commercial success. This is an excellent period for all positive practices such as SHREEM BRZEE mantra that help us develop stability and endurance with prosperity consciousness.

4th Moon of Ganesha

“Well ahead of time, Ganesha gives the opportunity for everyone to understand: ‘What is an obstacle’, and how his special intelligence can be employed to remove obstacles which you cannot even conceive of, because you confront obstacl
es only after they occur. You don’t know how they can be stopped, even before they come. That is a special intelligence, and Ganesha has that intelligence.” – Dr. Pillai

Thursday, June 2nd is a 4th Waxing Moon phase and a great day to invoke Ganesha to remove obstacles with some Coconut Breaking and a simple chant such as OM GUM GANESHAYA NAMAHA. For much of the day, the Moon will be in Mrigasira star, a star of spiritual enlightenment. We can ask Ganesha to bless us with renewing our aspirations for spiritual transformation and deepening our receptivity to enlightened teac
hings.

Friday, June 3rd Mercury goes direct in Taurus. This is a good time to make extra effort to keep communication creative and happy. This is a favorable time to take fresh enjoyment or inspiration from poetry and the arts. Some people may be inspired with new ideas for commercial success. Some people may be attracted to luxurious items and need to remain practical as to whether that fits their budget.

Saturday, June 4th is a 6th Waxing Moon

Muruga, a warrior/healer archetype, rules the 6th Waxing Moon. This is an especially effective day to pray to Muruga for protection from enemies, rivals, and evil-eye as well as for help to maintain good health. Dr. Pillai has said, “If you have the blessings of Muruga, you will get into miracles instantaneously.” Quantum sounds to invoke Muruga are OM MURUGAYA NAMAHA.

Also on Saturday, June 4th Saturn goes retrog
rade in Aquarius, a sign he rules. Some people may find success in new places or new opportunities. Some people will find their work ethic stimulated and be able to work productively for long periods of time on projects that help others. Those who have been doing yogic practices such as meditation or chanting may find their ability to have gentle influence over others is increased. Saturn always likes it when we are of service to others.

Holy Spirit

Sunday, June 5th is Pentecost. This is a Christian holiday celebrated on the seventh Sunday after Easter. Pentecost commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit on the disciples of Jesus after his Ascension in a light body. “What happened on that day was — there was a gust of wind that came … That wind is the Holy Spirit coming in and occupying the body, mind, and soul of the people. And after that day, miracles started happening.” ~ Dr. Pillai

“The Holy Spirit is important for everyone. If I have to summarize in one word what Jesus wanted to give humanity, it is the Holy Spirit.”  ~ Dr. Pillai

Friday, June 10th is an Ekadasi, an 11th Waxing Moon phase at sunrise. All 11th Moons are an auspicious time to connect with Vishnu for wealth. During this time, Vishnu is giving access to tremendous positive energy that can transform our financial mindset. A mantra to invoke the wealth-creation aspects of Vishnu is:

OM NARAYANA VIDH MAHE

VASU DEVAYA DHI MAHI

TANNO VISHNU PRACHODAYAT

Saturday, June 11th will be a 13th Waning Moon and a Sani Pradosham. All Pradoshams are a time when we can dissolve negative karmas through the compassion of the divine. When a Pradosham falls on a Saturday (a day ruled by Saturn, a planet who activates some of our karmic lessons), it is known as Sani Pradosham. This can be an extra strong day to cut limes or lemons, do karma removal chants such as THIRU NEELA KANTAM and pour milk over a lingam sometime during the hour and a half period before sunset in our local area.

Muruga

“We are grateful to this Pleiadian God of Wisdom, Muruga, for his compassion towards human beings. If you have the blessings of Muruga, you will get into miracles instantaneously. Muruga can interfere and put his feet on your head. Then the brain will absorb his energy to erase your karma. Muruga is an Archetype who can do miracles, and who carries the highest intelligence to perform the most difficult tasks. He is the compassionate one [who bails] us out from difficult situations. He is the Lord of the Pleiades, and the Pleiadians are very concerned about the evolution of the Earth plane.” ~ Dr. Pillai

Sunday, June 12th is an annual festival called Vaikasi Visakam.  This is celebrated as Muruga’s Birthday during the Vedic month of Vaikasi (Mid May – June) on the day when the Moon is in the star of Vishaka at sunrise.  This is a good day to pour milk over a vel and/or to chant: SA RA VA NA BA VA

Monday, June 13th is a Full Moon. The Moon will be in Jyeshta, a star of courage and conflict resolution. Every Full Moon is always a good day for some SHREEM BRZEE chanting and energizing our goals for material plane manifestation.

Gemini

Wednesday, June 15th the Sun enters Gemini, and he will be there until mid-July. According to Dr. Pillai, the Sun in Gemini gives an opportunity for each of us to enrich both our spiritual and material mindset. This transit can help illuminate our focus on the two parts of what Dr. Pillai calls the 200% life: 100% spiritual and 100% material. The Sun’s movement through Gemini lights up the topics of improving communication skills and exploring talents.

It is a good time to accept social invitations and to enjoy the company of others. The Sun is neutral toward quick-witted Mercury, the planet that rules Gemini. Some people may experience fresh opportunities for new training or learning new skills. Some people can use this time to lighten up a bit and renew their sense of humor, including their ability to laugh at themselves or to put a smile on the face of another person. This can be a time to renew contacts across a diverse range of friends. It can be a time to take action to explore a variety of interests (martial arts class one night, Shakespeare play another night, etc.). Some people may be faced with developing more courage and examining their ability to take risks.

Thursday, June 16th is a 4th Waning Moon phase and a great day to invoke Ganesha to remove obstacles with some Coconut Breaking and a simple chant such as OM GUM GANESHAYA NAMAHA.

Friday, June 17th Venus enters Taurus, a sign Venus rules. When Venus is in Taurus, Venus is visiting a sign he rules which means he feels quite comfortable. This enhances topics of love and prosperity. This is a good time to focus on material comforts and to enjoy luxurious settings. It is also a good time to be courteous and to share surplus with others.

Saturday, June 18th is a 6th Waning Moon phase and a good day to invoke Muruga for protection and blessings with a simple chant such as OM MURUGAYA NAMAHA.

Father's Day

Sunday, June 19th is Father’s Day. This is a celebration honoring one’s father, as well as fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society.

“The word ‘father’ is a mantra, and it is charged with power. Say it a few times and you will be in an altered state. God is called the ‘Father.’ During Father’s Day, you remember your biological father, as well as the Father of the Universe. The Father of the Universe uses your biological father to give you life. The bond between you and your father is profound. You made this contract before both the father and the child came to the Earth plane. You have known each other for a long, long time, and made a contract to be together through this relationship. Even after death, for either the father or the child, the relationship continues.” ~ Dr. Pillai

Sunday, June 19th is also Juneteenth. Several locations in USA celebrate Juneteenth. The holiday received its name by combining June and 19. On June 19th, 1865, enslaved African-Americans in Galveston, Texas were told that they were free. General Granger’s announcement put into final effect the Emancipation Proclamation, which had been issued more than two and a half years earlier on January 1st, 1863 by President Abraham Lincoln. Juneteenth celebrates freedom and emancipation. Many families remember ancestors on this day.

Tuesday, June 21st is a Solstice. In the Northern hemisphere, this is the Summer Solstice, the time at which the Sun is at its northernmost point in the sky, and the longest day of the year.In the Southern hemisphere, this is the Winter Solstice, the time at which the Sun is at its southernmost point in the sky, and the shortest day of the year. The June Solstice is a good time to review accomplishments since the Equinox in March and to set goals to complete by the Equinox in September.

Thursday, June 23rd will be an Ekadasi, an 11th Waning Moon phase. All 11th Moons are an auspicious time to connect with Vishnu for wealth. Ekasdasi is a very good time to remain open and alert and to ask for financial blessings and abundance. We can use the wealth-creation mantra given earlier.

Saturday, June 25th will be a 13th Waning Moon and a Sani Pradosham.

Sunday, June 26th Mars enters Aries, a sign he rules. Mars is very comfortable to be in this sign. This period has good energy for starting up new things with the keen energy of a warrior. Mars also has healing energies (in one mytho-therapy story, the mother of Mars is the Earth Goddess, Bhumi) so his presence in Aries makes it a good period to attend to any health matters and to renew healthy habits. Mars rules those who engage in protective services such as police, firefighters, first responders, the military and the like. It can be a good time to express appreciation or donate to related causes.

Tarpanam

“Do this Tarpanam religiously every day. It does work, and it works better than any other practices.

You will have miracles.” ~ Dr. Pillai

Tuesday, June 28th is a New Moon. Every New Moon is a good time to remember our ancestors and to do prayers to help them move into higher planes of light.  Dr. Pillai has explained we have spiritual genes, not just physical genes, which we inherit from our ancestors. Genes are the blueprint of our life. Dr. Pillai has said:

Changing our genes is of utmost importance for all of us to have a new life. How do we change our genes? By changing the consciousness that backs it up. Where does this consciousness come from? From our ancestors on both parents’ side. Our ancestors gave us this consciousness, and this consciousness is behind our genes. These dead ancestors remaining only in their disembodied consciousness can help us.

As consciousness, they can interact with the consciousness of our genes. This is what is being done in the ritual called Tarpanam. Tarpanam is a feeding ceremony for the souls of the ancestors. These souls visit their descendants in the body for help. Their souls need to be fed in order to move them up into higher planes of light.” Participating in Tarpanam rituals during daylight hours during a New Moon can exponentially increase blessings from our ancestors and accelerate positive transformation of our own spiritual DNA.
