Vedic Mars Enters Sensitive Cancer: You Can Win in 3 (Easy) Ways

There’s a big change in the sky that’s connected with your life in interesting and potentially life-changing ways. In Vedic astrology, Mars or Mangala is the planet of action, courage and motivation that is considered strong and exalted in Capricorn, a sign of slow and stable Saturn. Whereas now from Cancer, the sign of the highly emotional and changeable Moon, Mars becomes extremely weak as well as unpredictable. Clearly, you don’t want warrior-like Mars to be impulsive or too sensitive. Between July 11 and August 26, this weakened state of the Red Planet means that our cherished goals, relationships and overall energy could face some challenges. This transit will be much easier for those who understand Vedic astrology, the science of time and karma. In fact, awareness of possible events and, more importantly, the available remedies can fix your current problems in finances, health and relationships. So to gain victory in real estate, engineering careers and studies, and to improve all your relationships, here for you—three traditional and easy ways to help you eliminate stress and arguments, and be on the good side of Mars. Knowledge is power Dr. Pillai says that myth is both healing and an eternal reality, unlike the karma-driven and frozen realities that we create in our lives. The following mythological information will help you make a small shift in consciousness and connect you with the being within the planet Mars. When we connect with the planets at their primordial level, the best qualities of the planets are activated in our minds. An ancient and intuitive seer, the Rishi Parashara, wrote in the...
Can Guru Purnima Help You Become the Best You Can Be?

Can Guru Purnima Help You Become the Best You Can Be?

Whether you’ve been studying with Dr. Pillai or just beginning, you might be happy to hear about a special time window that can accelerate your evolution by hundreds, if not thousands, of times. Guru Purnima or Full Moon of the Guru is a yearly celebration of a great lunar event eagerly awaited by all yogis from spiritual traditions spanning millennia. In India, there’s a belief that without a Guru we risk living our life in darkness or ignorance, repeating mistakes that are due to our karmic thoughts with nearly no hope for change. Receiving the blessings of your guru on the Full Moon of the Guru is said to lead you to higher states of consciousness and to gaining supernormal powers.     According to the Tamil Siddhas, Guru Purnima’s lunar energy raises the collective consciousness on earth, and benevolent celestial beings and ascended Siddhas flock here in their light bodies. This year Guru Purnima begins on July 7 at 22:01 EDT and ends just past midnight on July 9. Who is the Guru? Truly enlightened gurus help their students gain more confidence, higher intelligence, compassion, the capacity to give and receive love, lasting well-being and the ability to solve all problems. Notably, powerful individuals such as Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg have admitted that their connection to a guru—Neem Karoli Baba—was instrumental for reaching incredible success after times of financial uncertainty. Receiving direct teachings and guidance from a spiritual teacher or guru holds great importance in India. This makes sense if we think that we need to be taught nearly everything—the steps for career advancement, education, sports...

Sun Enters Libra

Sun transits into Libra on Sunday, October 16th and will continue there until November 15, 2016. The Sun signifies your physical health, vitality, self-esteem, father, and even your soul. Sun doesn’t feel comfortable in Libra. It is his debilitation or lowest power position. It’s like he falls down to earth during this month. The good thing is that this is an opportunity to get to know Sun more and build a better relationship with him. Libra is an air sign ruled by Venus. Venus is a luxury-loving planet of love, beauty, the Goddess, and the arts. And wealth. Libra can bring blessings of being popular, peace-loving, and having harmonious relationships with others. Libra is called Tula in Sanskrit. Libra is a sign of harmony and balance. Libra’s symbol is a man in a bazaar, or open-air market, with a scale in his hand. The symbol shows how Libra energies support business, negotiation, and finding balance. This can mean finding win-win solutions that benefit everyone, being successful in business – putting together a good deal, and being diplomatic. As the natural 7th house of the zodiac, Libra is all about creating and maintaining relationships. This involves compromise and balancing the needs of each person involved. Learning to stay balanced is a big theme. Libra is the halfway point through the zodiac. Libra can also lead you to develop a strong relationship with the Divine through love and devotion. But don’t try to please everyone, or compromise your core values too much. In negotiation, you have to know what the minimum deal that would be workable for you and be able...

Happy Mothers Day & Akshaya Tritiya!

Happy Mother’s Day! This is the time of the Goddess – a day for nurturing and love! It is so important to get connected with the Mother. No matter what our relationship with our mother is or has been, we need to connect with the mother on a soul level. The Mother is the one who brought us into this world and Dr. Pillai has said to get the blessings of the Mother is greater than even the blessings of God. If we don’t have a good relationship with our moms, this is the time to heal. If our mothers have passed on, then we can perform a great Tarpanam ritual for her. Read more here. Today is also Akshaya Tritiya, a special third waxing moon associated with Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth. This is the day to get non-declining wealth. They say that any good deed or donation that is done today is multiplied by a thousand! This is also a good day to buy gold. Gold is the divine currency which is utilized in the upper realms. Sucharita tells us to continue to worship Lakshmi daily. Tomorrow Jupiter will be going direct in Leo. This means Jupiter will again be moving forward in the heavens, and will give us the direction to get what it is that we want to manifest. This will help us to get focused in our meditation and give us direction on our spiritual path. Yesterday Dr. Pillai broadcast a FREE brain training called “Your Brain Determines Your Money” Watch the video. Dr. Pillai teaches us to access the part of our brain...

Bust Your Obstacles!

Sucharita is now in Madurai near a powerful vortex for the goddess Meenakshi, an avatar of Parvati. She told us stories of how Ganesha was removing obstacles all along the way to enter Meenakshi temples where foreigners are not usually allowed. These are examples of how to use the energy of Ganesha wherever you are and wherever you go. She reminds us to put our obstacles (bad karma) in coconuts and smash them, dissolving all our problems! Monday, April 25th will be the 4th waning moon which is a good time to propitiate Ganesha. Offer Bermuda grass or Bermuda grass seeds to Ganesha, light a ghee lamp, pray to Ganesha, or anything to connect with him. Learn more on AstroVed. Wednesday, April 27th will be the 6th moon, the time for Lord Muruga, Ganesha’s brother. He is the archetype to remove debt, disease & legal problems. The 8th waning moon is right behind on Friday, April 29th. This is the time of Kala Bhairava, the god of time. Resonate with the energy of Kala Bhairava on this day to speed things up.
