The Guru’s Sacrifice to Bring You Miracles: Guru Purnima

The Guru’s Sacrifice to Bring You Miracles: Guru Purnima

What is your most burning wish? You know: the one that doesn’t let you sleep at night and comes to your mind without hesitation. For most, the word is money. For many it’s happiness, for others it’s health. According to the wisdom traditions of the Siddhas, Rishis and yogis of India, a real guru, or rather a Guru, is a being with supernatural powers who can take you from an ordinary state of consciousness to a place hidden in your brain and soul, from which you can become infinite. You can then acquire a higher state of consciousness and find solutions to all your problems. Better yet, this exceptional person will make a sacrifice, taking on your bad karma that is creating the problems in your life. This act of sacrifice isn’t without risks for the Guru—in fact some gurus suffer from diseases after healing their students, or undergo various unpleasant consequences for having helped and interfered with someone’s bad karma. A truly enlightened master, in fact, is believed to come to earth with the full awareness of his or her divine origins, and with just one goal—uplifting humanity and ending suffering. These spiritual beings have obtained supernormal powers that they may or may not want to display—but if you dig into their lives, you’ll know they aren’t ordinary humans. They’ve been seen levitating, or acquiring a luminous halo around their body, communicating telepathically, healing years’ worth of sorrows, materializing objects, and producing life-changing miracles. Suspending our skepticism in an era of fast growing technology and science isn’t easy—yet testimonials from thousands of people around the world can’t...
Can Guru Purnima Help You Become the Best You Can Be?

Can Guru Purnima Help You Become the Best You Can Be?

Whether you’ve been studying with Dr. Pillai or just beginning, you might be happy to hear about a special time window that can accelerate your evolution by hundreds, if not thousands, of times. Guru Purnima or Full Moon of the Guru is a yearly celebration of a great lunar event eagerly awaited by all yogis from spiritual traditions spanning millennia. In India, there’s a belief that without a Guru we risk living our life in darkness or ignorance, repeating mistakes that are due to our karmic thoughts with nearly no hope for change. Receiving the blessings of your guru on the Full Moon of the Guru is said to lead you to higher states of consciousness and to gaining supernormal powers.     According to the Tamil Siddhas, Guru Purnima’s lunar energy raises the collective consciousness on earth, and benevolent celestial beings and ascended Siddhas flock here in their light bodies. This year Guru Purnima begins on July 7 at 22:01 EDT and ends just past midnight on July 9. Who is the Guru? Truly enlightened gurus help their students gain more confidence, higher intelligence, compassion, the capacity to give and receive love, lasting well-being and the ability to solve all problems. Notably, powerful individuals such as Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg have admitted that their connection to a guru—Neem Karoli Baba—was instrumental for reaching incredible success after times of financial uncertainty. Receiving direct teachings and guidance from a spiritual teacher or guru holds great importance in India. This makes sense if we think that we need to be taught nearly everything—the steps for career advancement, education, sports...

Sun enters Gemini

The Sun enters Gemini on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, and will continue there through July 16th, the Vedic Summer Solstice.   Gemini is a sign ruled by Mercury, and it is called Mithuna in Sanskrit. It is a sign that encompasses a great range of energies. It is symbolized either by twins or by an embracing couple. Gemini is the natural 3rd house of the zodiac, which is about courage and risk-taking, your siblings and peers, short journeys and errands. It shows your capacity to get along with others and physical strength. You may want to look at how you deal with risk. Are you bold or timid? Do you take measured risks or do you risk too much without a safety net or back-up plan? Dr. Pillai talks about this in his book, Life Changing Sounds: Tools from the Other Side. He said that overspending to buy a luxury car when you can’t really afford the payments is not a good risk.  However, “A good risk is a ‘calculated risk’ which optimizes the opportunity for success”. As mentioned before, Gemini is ruled by Mercury, who is a planet of communication, information technology, intellect, business, and money. Mercury is no longer retrograde; he is moving forward in Taurus now, so there should be fewer interruptions to communications and technology. Mercury will enter Gemini on June 26th, transiting here through July 11th. He will be very strong in his own sign, so this will be a good chance to develop your mercurial skills. Learning something new in technology, business know-how, astrology, public speaking, writing. Venus is going to be entering...
Ganesha And Super Human Powers

Ganesha And Super Human Powers

Ganesha: Lord of the Angels Ganesha simply means “the one who is the Lord of Angels, Ganas.” Ganas are angels. The angels have superhuman powers, because they are not humans, and he is the Lord of the Angels. Ganesha Has Siddhi Powers Why he’s the Lord of all of the Angels is because he knows the secret of all Siddhi powers. Siddhi powers are supernormal, superhuman powers. It’s not just mythology when we talk about superhuman powers. It is literally within the context of the Indian Gods and Goddesses, I know personally, and is also supported by scriptures. They are so, but then one has to know the methodology of it. What is a Superhuman Power? A superhuman power is something you cannot do on your own because of human limitations, whereas if you use an angel, then the angel can do a better job. Even in Jesus Christ’s case when he was arrested, he mentioned to Peter: “Look, if my Father had really wanted to help me he would have sent an angel to fight the Romans, but he did not send it.” Angels Have Superhuman Powers So, angels can do things that we cannot do. But there is a science behind this, and the course that I will do, I think, by the end of the year, is going to be on supernormal powers, as discussed by Patanjali, the Father of Yoga. Supernormal Power Of Precognition To come back to Ganesha, what supernormal powers are associated with Ganesha? All kinds of powers, but primarily the power to know ahead of time the problems and then avoid that...
Ganesha Solutions: Siddha Technology of Statues

Ganesha Solutions: Siddha Technology of Statues

Dr. Pillai: Ganesha just told me that the series I will do will be called Ganesha Solutions. As I said, it will be done quite randomly and erratically, whenever he inspires me to do. He did immediately ask me to do this series; he gave the topic, and he gave the name too, which is “Ganesha Solutions.” People are Frustrated with God He says that God is not respected in our times. People are frustrated with God, and so is God frustrated with human beings. I asked him, “What’s going on?” He said that humans want to find their own egocentric, mind-based or intellect–based solutions, and then never ask for God. God is Frustrated God is un-utilized, and God is frustrated about that, all Gods. He doesn’t say that he’s frustrated, but he is indeed frustrated. But all of the Gods of all traditions are frustrated, because they want to help, but then nobody will reach out to them, because everybody is so fully absorbed in their own egos. Ego Won’t Accept God And the ego says, “I’ll figure out through my own rationality. I won’t accept God, because he is a chance phenomenon. So, giving a problem to God to solve it is taking a great risk and taking a chance which we are not willing to do.” Which is true. TD Jakes on God The other day, I was watching TD Jakes. I liked his presentation. He said, “You never allow God to talk to you. You keep on talking over and over and over again, but have you ever allowed God to talk to you? Have you...
