Namaste fellow spiritual travelers! Welcome to the Powertime Practice call on Saturday April 17, 2021. Sucharita warmly welcomed by reminding us how and why we are all together on these calls. Something in us has prompted us to pursue the teachings of Dr. Pillai. Dr. Pillai teaches us how to be in the right place at the right time, speaking to the right people to accomplish and manifest our desires! One of the ways that he does this is by giving us a heads-up of the powertimes that are coming up and how we can utilize these times to avoid karma and to find other pathways around the detours in our lives!
The Vedic New Year started last week with the Sun entering the first sign of the zodiac – Aries. The sun represents our soul and is exalted in the sign of Aries. The sun will help us to change our karma. Our old personality can be challenged when the sun enters Aries. Let’s shake it up! Let us get out of fear-consciousness and boldly know who we are. What is our soul’s purpose now? The sun can help us out with this.
Dr. Pillai is inviting us to explore all different traditions and religions. These are just different ways of telling the same story!
Vasanta Navaratri has started this week. “Vasanta” means springtime, and Navaratri means nine. This is the Nine Nights of the Goddesses. This is a time to honor the Goddesses who will root out whatever might be blocking our progress. They will fight the fight for us! Learn more
Rama, who is the 7th incarnation of Vishnu, is the spiritual being that we will be honoring this coming week. His name is very powerful. Chant Rama Rama Rama! Rama’s greatest devotee is Hanuman, the monkey god. Sucharita tells us the story of the Ramayana. She recommends that we google the story if we are interested. Dr. Pillai says that we can birth the consciousness of Rama into our own consciousness. We can bring it into our own minds and gain Rama’s supreme power, intelligence, and bliss.
“The story of Rama cannot be fathomed by human intelligence. Rama sacrificed more than any Avatar, absorbing human suffering in totality. The 9th Waxing Moon (Rama Navami) is his birthday. Birthdays of Gods provide a link to them. Therefore, it is very important to meditate, worship, or visit their temples on this day. Spend the 9th day thinking of Rama and praying to him.” – Dr. Pillai.
There will be a live initiation and meditation by Dr. Pillai on Rama’s birthday. Learn more. Dr. Pillai is going to awaken Rama consciousness inside of each of us! He will help us to find out what the best version of ourselves. Rama is the essence of Shiva and Vishnu, and this consciousness has the ability to manifest prosperity and also enlightenment in a balanced way. 13TH MOON – KARMA BUSTING

The 13th Moon phase is called Pradosham, a karma-removing time. 1 1/2 hours before sunset through sunset is the most powerful time to pray to Shiva to dissolve your bad karma. Hydrate a shivalinga by pouring water/milk/juice over it as you chant the karma busting mantra, Thiru Neela Kantam Makaral Shivayanama. Visualize blue light in your throat. Roll and break a coconut or lime(s) to remove karma.
