Good Saturday morning and Happy Vedic New Year<\/strong> to all our fellow spiritual travelers on this April 14, 2018!\u00a0 Sucharita welcomed us, new or experienced listeners, by reminding us why we come together each Saturday on these Powertime Practice (PTP)<\/strong> calls.\u00a0 We are here to navigate the teachings of an enlightened master, Dr. Pillai to further the journey of our souls on this earth plane, as well as amplify our spiritual practices and hold the space for each one of us.\u00a0 The key to Dr. Pillai’s teaching are to understanding the energies of the hours, days, months and years that are available to us.\u00a0 If we know what’s ahead of time, we can avoid pitfalls and take advantage of good time.\u00a0 She tells us that the Sun<\/strong> has left Pisces<\/strong>, the last house in the zodiac, and into Aries<\/strong>, the first and fiery house of the zodiac.\u00a0 We are starting something fresh on this Vedic New Year<\/strong>.\u00a0 We have planted the seed of our spiritual endeavors and now it is going to sprout.\u00a0 This is a time to turn over a new leaf, get outside and start moving.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sucharita explains how to participate in a puja<\/strong> or ceremony, by closing the eyes and concentrating on the third eye.\u00a0 Have a \u201cbeginners\u201d mind and just feel open to the ceremony.\u00a0 She started the puja by asking Ganesha<\/strong> to remove the obstacles , then by asking Dr. Pillai, our spiritual master, to guide us on our journey.\u00a0 There was a picture of the sun God sitting on 7 horses which represents the chakras, and a yantra<\/strong> with a sun on it, a Shiva lingam<\/strong> for Lord Shiva<\/strong>, and a crystal sun and a statue for Gayatri<\/strong>, the sun goddess.\u00a0 We invoked the sun goddess with the Gayatri mantra:<\/span><\/p>\n

Sucharita told us that she will be facilitating a program Sunday 3 PM Pillai Center Academy Program\u00a0 called \u201c<\/em>Awaken With the Sun<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u201d. <\/strong><\/em>One listener said that she has been taking the program for a week now and it is enhancing all her spiritual practices.\u00a0 She told a great story about her horses.\u00a0 She highly recommended taking the course with Sucharita!\u00a0 Sucharita mentions a CD offered on Pillai Center called \u201cDancing with Siva\u201d which has many of the mantras in Dr. Pillai’s own voice.\u00a0 It is found <\/em>here<\/a>.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
