Sucharita welcomed us on this Powertime Practice<\/strong> (PTP) call Saturday, October 20, 2018 with her usual enthusiasm saying that we have been together on these calls for five years-first with Sundays with Sucharita<\/strong> and now with PTP<\/strong>!\u00a0 This is a time for us to gather together and amplify our good energies through our meditations and sharing.\u00a0 Sucharita helps us to sort out all the Powertimes of the weeks coming up by giving us tools and techniques that Dr. Pillai has taught us.\u00a0 Each hour, day, week and month has special energies or shaktis<\/strong> that can help us on our material and spiritual paths if we know how to utilize them.\u00a0 We have just completed the Nine Nights of the Goddess<\/strong> or Navaratri<\/strong> as it is called when it occurs in the fall.\u00a0 She tells us that this time is not a mythological story but the Goddess lives inside each of us!\u00a0 The Goddess Wisdom<\/a><\/strong> course, offered through the Pillai Center Academy<\/strong>, is a timeless teaching that can help us know the Goddess inside.<\/p>\n

Sucharita says that your karma<\/strong> changes when you change your space.\u00a0 This gives you a different perspective on who you are.\u00a0 You might be able to see your blessings in a different way.\u00a0 Dr. Pillai says it’s always a good thing to change your location from time to time, even if it’s just for a few days.\u00a0 And if you know how to use the Goddess energy, everything on your trip and experience can work out for your benefit!<\/p>\n

Today is pradosham<\/strong>, an important day to cleanse our consciousness.\u00a0 Pradosham is a window of time during the 13th<\/sup> moon where we can ‘bust our karma’. Sacrifice a coconut to remove your karma!\u00a0 The coconut is a surrogate, and represents our head with two physical eyes and a third eye.\u00a0 Roll the coconut around your face, throat and head, any injured body part, and chant Thiru Neela Kantum. <\/em>We are putting our karma into the coconut.\u00a0 Then take the coconut and smash it.\u00a0 You will get miraculous results in changing your thinking and thus changing your karma. Pain can be lessened.\u00a0 If you don’t have\u00a0 a coconut, you can use a lemon or a lime instead,cutting it after and throwing it out.\u00a0 You can also take Lord Muruga’s weapon, a spear called a vel, and insert the point into a lemon or a lime, leaving it on your altar or wherever you can see it and be reminded of the removal of thoughts and karma.\u00a0 Do the rituals 1 \u00bd hours before sunset.<\/p>\n

The full moon<\/a> that is coming up is an opportunity to get fulfilled.\u00a0 Sucharita will be hosting Full Moon<\/a> Fire Prayers honoring\u00a0 the Goddess Lakshmi energy where she will be chanting Shreem Brzee 1,008 times on Tuesday Oct. 24. Learn more<\/a>.<\/p>\n

13TH MOON – KARMA BUSTING<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 13th Moon<\/a> phase is called Pradosham, a karma-removing time. 1 1\/2 hours before sunset through sunset is the most powerful time to pray to Siva to dissolve your bad karma. Hydrate a sivalinga by pouring water\/milk\/juice over it as you chant the karma busting mantra,\u00a0Thiru Neela Kantam Makaral Shivayanama<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/em>Visualize\u00a0blue light in your throat. Roll and break a coconut or lime(s) to remove karma.<\/p>\n
