The dance is life and life is movement.\u00a0Nataraja is a still dancer with a dance that carries stillness, which is the opposite of movement.&#8221;\u00a0<\/em>&#8211; Dr. Pillai<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The festival of Ardra Darshan is celebrated in appreciation of the great ecstatic dance of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pillaicenter.com\/dancing-with-siva-get-2-tracks-free--p225.aspx\">Dancing Shiva<\/a> (Nataraja), Archetype of Infinite Intelligence and Infinite Compassion.<\/strong>\u00a0Honoring Dancing Shiva on this day, and surrendering to the feet of Shiva\u2019s divine dance, can wash away sins.<\/p>\n<p>On this day, the Moon will be in Ardra, the star symbolized as a tear of compassion.\u00a0<strong>This is a day to receive Shiva\u2019s compassionate blessings for the suffering of humanity and to be lifted into union with his divine bliss.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Pillai explains his affinity with Dancing Shiva since childhood:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cRight from a young age as I remember, I was interested in spirituality. I was drawn to a statue of Dancing Shiva, which is in an outer corridor of this huge Temple. The Rameshwaram Temple is one of the biggest temples in India. It was in the outermost corridor of the Temple, even when I was 6 or 7 years old, I used to go and sit there without knowing why I was going there. I used to go and sit before the statue of Nataraja, the Dancing Siva.\u201d<\/em> &#8211; Dr. Pillai<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>MANTRA &amp; AT-HOME PRACTICE:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Do the Namah Shivaya\u00a0Meditation.<\/strong>\u00a0Dr. Pillai says,\u00a0\u201cYou will have a world of benefits come to you.
