Good Saturday morning fellow spiritual travelers on this Dec. 22, 2018 Powertime Practice<\/strong> call with Sucharita.\u00a0 Happy birthday Siva! This morning Sucharita led us through a ritual or pooja honoring Lord Siva<\/strong>.\u00a0 Lord Siva has the ability to destroy negativity!\u00a0 In his Nataraj or Dancing Siva statue, his foot is on a demon.\u00a0 The demon is our ego! We offered Siva some things the represents earth, water, fire, and air.\u00a0 She showed us Bilva leaves<\/strong>, which is a favorite offering of Siva.\u00a0 She says the energy of the bilva is eternal and that Dr. Pillai says that this is the only offering that can be re-offered to the gods.<\/p>\n

In our meditation<\/strong>, we chanted the sounds of the elements, which are inside of us.\u00a0 They are NA MA SI VA YA<\/em><\/strong>. To clear the space, she burned and offered incense, which represents AIR, while chanting to Ganesha, the elephant-headed god who removes all obstacles. Next she offered the statue something to eat, something to drink, and some fire in the form of a ghee lamp.\u00a0 Then we offered our prayers, flower petals and bilva leaves to Siva, while gazing at the statue.<\/p>\n

Sucharita discussed the Dance of Siva that is inside us.\u00a0 Also how to connect with all the Divine Beings<\/strong> that exist inside of us.\u00a0 She mentions how useful it is to have an astrological reading<\/a>, available on AstroVed.com, to be able to see the forecast of what’s ahead.\u00a0 This reading can give us a heads-up of the road blocks we may encounter and the detours that are available for us to take to avoid the problems.<\/p>\n

Sucharita also mentioned how beneficial it is to enroll in the Mystery School 3<\/a><\/strong> Program<\/strong> available by application.<\/p>\n

Sucharita discussed Dr. Pillai’s Birthday Trip<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 Dr. Pillai has decided to participate in the trip this year, in person.\u00a0 This will be happening in late January, 2019.<\/p>\n

We are entering the waning cycle of the moon and this is a time to throw off the negativity in our lives.<\/p>\n
