This is a time to tap into the energy of wealth consciousness.\u00a0 We pray to Durga<\/strong> on this day.\u00a0 She is here to destroy negativity.\u00a0 Durga likes the color red and she likes limes and lemons.\u00a0\u00a0 Cut a lime \u00bd and dip it into kum kum<\/em> (red power from AstroVed).\u00a0 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday day day are also good times to honor Durga.\u00a0 Leave the lime at her feet for a day and then toss.\u00a0 Om dum Durgaye namaha<\/em><\/strong> is her mantra.\u00a0 Durga is the overlord of Rahu.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Mother’s Day-<\/strong>May 12, 08:07 AM ET -Goddess<\/strong> Saraswati<\/strong> rules the 9th<\/sup> waxing moon<\/strong>. She is the Goddess of education, she loves kids. She plays the sitar and loves music, art and creativity.\u00a0 She wants us to create a better life for ourselves.\u00a0 She wants us to joyful!\u00a0 Saraswati likes the color white.\u00a0 Honor this goddess on this Sunday, any Wednesday, and any Friday.\u00a0 Her sound seed is Aim <\/em><\/strong>.(pronounced I’m)<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Ekadasi-11th waxing moon <\/strong>May 14, 03:29 AM ET. This is a day to honor Vishnu<\/strong>.\u00a0 He destroys negativity.\u00a0 He loves tulsi (holy basil), and tulsi beads.\u00a0 His consort is Lakshmi<\/strong>, the goddess of wealth.\u00a0 His energy is available on 11th<\/sup> moons, Wednesdays, Mercury Horas (see panchang on AstroVed or Hora Watch app), Thursdays, and Saturdays.\u00a0 He likes the colors gold, greens, purply blues, and rich royal colors.\u00a0 There is a fire lab<\/a> offered at AstroVed on this day.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Sun entering Taurus <\/strong>on Wednesday May 15, 2019<\/strong>, Taurus is the natural 2nd<\/sup> House<\/strong> of the zodiac, which is all about finances, family matters and education.\u00a0 We may be connecting with our family members.\u00a0 Pray to Gayatri<\/strong>, the sun goddess.\u00a0 She has 5 heads representing the 5 senses and she helps us to get our senses under control. Her mantra is Om Bhur Bhuva Swaha Tat Savitur Varenyam, Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi Dhiyo Yonah Prachodayat.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Om Suryaya namaha<\/em><\/strong> is the sun’s mantra.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. 13th<\/sup> Moon<\/strong> Wednesday May 15, 10:45 PM (waxing or waning)-This is Pradosham<\/strong> and is the time to bust karma! We do this by honoring Lord Siva<\/strong>.\u00a0 Hydrate a sivalingam<\/strong> by pouring a little water over it (Abhishekam<\/strong> ).\u00a0 Thiru Neela Kantum Makaral Sivayanama <\/em><\/strong>is the mantra to chant to destroy our karma.\u00a0 Lord Siva loves the color dark blue.\u00a0 Picture a blue color at your throat while you chant 1 \u00bd\u00a0 hour before and after sunset.\u00a0 Roll a lemon on your throat, your shoulders, any achy part of the body to absorb pain and negativity.\u00a0 Cut it in half and toss it.\u00a0 You can also use a coconut, smashing it when you are through.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. 14th<\/sup> Moon<\/strong>-Thursday May 16, 08:34 PM This is Ganesha’s moon. Ganesha<\/strong> is represented by a coconut.\u00a0 This is a surrogate technology whereby you roll the coconut all over your body and it will absorb your negative karma.\u00a0 Smash the coconut and toss.\u00a0 Ganesha rules the root chakra, the muladhara, and this needs up be opened up to allow success in your lives.\u00a0 Ganesha’s seed sound is Gum<\/em><\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Full Moon<\/strong>-Friday May 17, 06:40 PM –Shreem Brzee<\/strong> is the goddess Lakshmi<\/strong>, the goddess of wealth (consort of Vishnu). Chant Shreem Brzee<\/em><\/strong> on Fridays, but especially on the full moon.\u00a0 Lakshmi will bring you material wealth, health, relationships, and joy.\u00a0 There will be a Shreem Brzee full moon fire lab<\/a> this Friday.\u00a0 She loves pink, gold, purples, sweets, ghee lamps.\u00a0 There is a new yantra<\/a> for Shreem Brzee that you can carry around with you available at Pillai Center.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Narasimha<\/strong>-His birthday is on the Full Moon<\/strong>. He is the lion-faced form of Lord Vishnu<\/strong>-Vishnu has 10 god-forms and Narasimha is the form which destroys the ego, which is rooted in negativity.\u00a0 Our ego is full of doubt and Narasimha will use his claws to rip out our egos so our souls shine brightly.\u00a0 There is a course at the Pillai Academy for Narasimha called \u201cNarasimha: Beauty, Power and Protection<\/a>\u201d<\/strong>.\u00a0 His mantra is:\u00a0 Om Narasimhaya Namaha<\/em><\/strong>. There is a special offering<\/a> for Narasimha’s birthday.<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. Lord Buddha’s Birthday<\/strong> is also on the Full Moon<\/strong>-the Buddha is also an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, By honoring him you can build wealth consciousness.<\/span><\/li>\n
  10. Lord Muruga<\/strong> is the lord of the Pleiades and his star is Vishaka<\/strong>. His birthday is next Saturday. He is also the lord of kundalini<\/strong>.\u00a0 He has 6 heads and destroys any and all forms of negativity. There are many services for Muruga on both AstroVed and Pillai Center. His vehicle is a peacock and he is associated with a rooster.\u00a0 He carries a spear or vel which represent the spine in the shaft of the spear and the head of the spear represents the head, brain and 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0 Muruga likes the color red.\u00a0 His chant is Saravanabavaya<\/em><\/strong>.     Ekadasi<\/a> is the day when Vishnu’s blessings for wealth and health are abundant. Chant\u00a0Om Namo Narayanaya\u00a0<\/strong>for Vishnu or\u00a0Shreem Brzee<\/strong>\u00a0for his consort, Lakshmi.<\/span><\/p>\n

    13TH MOON – KARMA BUSTING<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Thursday May 16<\/span><\/p>\n

    The 13th Moon<\/a> phase is called Pradosham, a karma-removing time. 1 1\/2 hours before sunset through sunset is the most powerful time to pray to Siva to dissolve your bad karma. Hydrate a sivalinga by pouring water\/milk\/juice over it as you chant the karma busting mantra,\u00a0Thiru Neela Kantam Makaral Shivayanama<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/em>Visualize\u00a0blue light in your throat. Roll and break a coconut or lime(s) to remove karma.<\/span><\/p>\n
