Today there is a lot of Vishnu<\/strong> energy available.\u00a0 The 11th<\/sup> moon<\/strong> is today and this is Vishnu<\/strong>‘s moon and that is all about miracles!\u00a0 Vishnu represents manifestation.\u00a0 He is the party god in heaven!\u00a0 And today’s star is Rohini<\/strong>, the star of Krishna<\/strong>, another incarnation of Vishnu.\u00a0 One way to connect with the archetypes is to chant their mantras.\u00a0 \u201cOm Namo Narayanaya\u201d<\/em><\/strong> is the mantra of Vishnu.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, today is Saturday, ruled by Saturn, the deliverer of karma.\u00a0 He brings us to our spiritual path so we can\u00a0 get rid of that karma!\u00a0 Chant \u201cOm Sanecharaya Namaha\u201d<\/em><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Monday will be the 13th<\/sup> moon<\/strong>.\u00a0 This is called pradosham<\/strong> and when it occurs on a Monday its called Soma Pradosham<\/strong>. Pradosham is a time for the removing negative karma in all areas of life, like, health, finances and relationships. Soma Pradosham is effective for clearing afflictions of the Moon that can cause mental anguish.\u00a0 The Moon is important in astrology because it rules your mind and emotions. Be in a meditative state during the Pradosham time, starting an hour and a half before sunset. Participate in Soma Pradosham rituals and chant the karma-busting sound \u201cThiru Neela Kantam\u201d<\/strong><\/em>. This is a day to get rid of karma.\u00a0 Lord Shiva<\/strong> represents harmony and enlightenment and he is the archetype to propitiate this day. There is a service offered at Pillai Center for Soma Pradosham<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are also approaching a very special new moon on the 31st<\/sup> of July.\u00a0 The new moon during the month of Aadi<\/strong> is called Aadi Amavasya<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 This is the day when all the ancestors who has passed come very close to the earth plane and we can help them. Special ancestor offerings<\/a> will be performed in India. If we propitiate them through the service of Tarpanam, the ancestors can evolve into their next journey.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a course in the Pillai Academy called Soul Genetics<\/a><\/strong> that Sucharita highly recommends. She says that our present is determined by our past:\u00a0 Our ancestors are determining what is happening in our lives now.\u00a0 We share the physical DNA of our ancestors, as well as the DNA of their souls.\u00a0 Dr. Pillai says that the ancestors from 6 generations are especially influential in our lives.\u00a0 This is only about 250-300 years ago-not that long ago!\u00a0 They are hanging out in a purgatory state, waiting to evolve.\u00a0 They can benefit greatly from us offering them the \u201cfood\u201d of the tarpanam rituals.\u00a0 This is the honoring of the ancestors.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

13TH MOON – KARMA BUSTING<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The 13th Moon<\/a> phase is called Pradosham, a karma-removing time. 1 1\/2 hours before sunset through sunset is the most powerful time to pray to Siva to dissolve your bad karma. Hydrate a sivalinga by pouring water\/milk\/juice over it as you chant the karma busting mantra,\u00a0Thiru Neela Kantam Makaral Shivayanama.\u00a0<\/em>Visualize\u00a0blue light in your throat. Roll and break a coconut or lime(s) to remove karma.<\/span><\/p>\n
