Sucharita welcomed us on this first Powertime Practice call of 2020 on January 4th! We are here together to learn from the teachings of Dr. Pillai. He is going to help us to tap into the energies that are available from the stars and the planets. One way we can do this is to use a yantra, a square piece of metal with a geometrical pattern of a divine being engraved on it. Dr. Pillai teaches us that this is a machine that will bring in the energy of that god or goddess.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the year of Varahi<\/strong>, a boar-headed goddess and another form of Lakshmi, and this is going to be a year of big miracles! We are here to prepare ourselves to be able to accept the miracles. Varahi is going to root out all the negativity that is stopping us from accepting our divine birthrights of abundance, health, good relationships and realization.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the powertime this week, we are invited to honor the goddess within. We will push the kundalini energy up from the base chakra up and out of the top of the head. There will be a full moon this week on Thursday and this is a good time to connect with the goddess and build on the energy of Varahi. It will also be a great time to honor Lord Shiva<\/strong> for enlightenment and prosperity on his birthday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sucharita mentioned a brand new course at the Pillai Center Academy called Awakened Soul<\/em> Program, which is a great kick-off for the new year. There will be teaching calls every week, as well as fire labs offered. Awakened Soul Program<\/strong><\/a> is still open to join<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

There will be LIVE Full Moon Fire Prayers<\/strong><\/a> on Thursday night 10 pm EST to connect with Lord Shiva on his birthday as well as Lakshmi\/Shreem Brzee for abundance. Another course that she recommends is Timeline Jumping<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The call was on Saturday, so this is a time to propitiate Saturn<\/strong>. He likes a sesame seed oil lamp, which is something we also give to the ancestors. Saturn is related to our karma and we are connected to our ancestors through our karma! The mantra for Saturn is Om Sham Sanicharaya Namaha<\/em>. Dark blue or black is the color that Saturn likes, so wearing a garment of these colors will help you get in alignment with his energy.<\/span><\/p>\n

This week is also Vaikuntha Ekadashi<\/strong> (the 11th Moon when Vishnu\u2019s abode is open) is the most special Ekadashi as on this day Vishnu, supreme archetype of wealth, opens the gates of Heaven. This symbolizes that he is giving access to a powerful prosperity energy that can change your financial mindset and help you receive boons of abundance. According to scriptures, Vaikuntha Ekadashi is the only day of the year when Vishnu gives you access to his celestial abode Vaikuntha, where Goddess Lakshmi resides with Vishnu in abundance and prosperity.
