Sucharita welcomed us warmly to the Powertime Practice call on Saturday, January 18, 2020. We are here on these calls to learn timeline jump by connecting with the energies available at every moment. Beams of energy and light that are bombarding us from the stars and planets, and they are lighting up the areas of our lives that need attention.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today is Saturday and this day is all about Saturn. Lord Saturn is the planetary being who delivers tough karma to us to learn the lessons that we are asking to learn! Sucharita mentions a book called The Greatness of Saturn<\/a><\/em> by Robert Svoboda. This book is the story of how all the planets bring good and bad times into our lives. Dr. Pillai recommends this book as part of our spiritual studies. Sucharita tells us that our true purpose here on the earth plane is to become the best and highest self that we able to be. Saturn is going to help us to achieve this. <\/em>Saturn will be moving into its tenth natural house of Capricorn and then into the eleventh house of Aquarius, where he is also the ruler. The tenth house has to do with father figures and career and the eleventh house of Aquarius is the time for gains and victories.<\/span><\/p>\n

When we honor Lord Saturn we are helping all of humanity. We can honor him by lighting a sesame oil lamp and by wearing black, dark blue, or dark brown clothing. What are the blessings of Saturn? Peace and compassion are some of the blessings of Saturn. Saturn loves it when we honor the elderly, needy or challenged ones. Dr. Pillai has a charitable organization, the Tripura Foundation<\/a>, that makes it easy to do this. Sucharita mentioned a blog she just received in an email, called \u201c17 ways to Please Saturn<\/a>\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thai Amavasya is approaching this week on January 24 IST, and this is the time to honor the ancestors. Dr. Pillai says:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a gift-giving time from the ancestors to their descendants who are living in this earth plane. The ancestors who passed from earth and are living in another plane are going to give abundant blessings. I want you to take advantage of this time. You may even be able to converse with them during this time. Think about them, but the most important thing is doing the Tarpanam, which is giving the offering to them.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Learn how to do the Tarpanam<\/a> ceremony. Dr. Pillai teaches us that we share our physical DNA with our ancestors, but also our soul DNA. The influences of Saturn will be accessible on the day of Amavasya, and so this is also a good time to propitiate him. This is also a good time to honor Lord Hanuman, the impossibility buster! He is a monkey god who is a superman.
