\"\"<\/a>Sucharita welcomed us all to the Powertime Practice call on Saturday March 21, 2020. She\u2019s back in Canada, stating how magical and mystical it is to be on this spiritual and physical trip with Dr. Pillai! This is the first day of spring in the West, but Sucharita tells us it is still a cold winter day in Canada. Even with all the chaos in the world due to the COVID-19 virus, her traveling from India was easy and without bumps, and she attributes this to the blessings of Dr. Pillai!<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a new Mystery School program that Dr. Pillai is starting soon in the Pillai Center Academy called the \u201cScience of Miracles<\/a>.\u201d Sucharita implores all of us to join this program. She is offering a free 15-minute call consultation to anyone who is still on the fence about joining the course. If you have not decided to take the course, email her at Sucharita@Pillaicenter.com<\/a>. She invites all of us to remember to chant the mantras all the time because the word \u201cmantra\u201d means \u201cprotection.\u201d She said that she chanted the seed sound for Ganesha, the remover of all obstacles, during her whole flight. That mantra is \u201cGum GumGum.\u201d Her flight was free from turbulence!<\/span><\/p>\n

During this time of forced confinement, due to the coronavirus, she says that we can concentrate on our meditations and spiritual practice. Look at this as a blessing! Protect yourselves but don’t freak out!<\/span><\/p>\n

Today is a 13th moon and that is a Pradosham. When it occurs on a Saturday it\u2019s called Sani Pradosham. The Divine can come in today and erase a lot of karma. \u201cDosham\u201d means to be afflicted on any level so karma may be dumping on you. \u201cPram\u201d comes from the word protection. This means that during a Pradosham day we are protected from affliction. Honor Lord Shiva and Lord Saturn today to get the most protection. Light a Saturn lamp which is comprised of sesame oil with black sesame seeds. If you have a shivalingam, you can hydrate it with water, milk, or juice. Lord Shiva is one who can get rid of karma. Do this approximately 1 hour before all the way through 1 hour after sunset.\u00a0 Chant \u201cOm Namashivaya\u201d and \u201cMakaral Shivayanama\u201d at this time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sucharita tells us to get an AstroVed calendar<\/a> to better keep tract of the time of the day, week and month. It’s free, except for shipping.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunday March 22nd is a 14th moon which is associated with Lord Ganesha, the remover of all obstacles seen and unseen. Chant the seed sound \u201cgum\u201d to Lord Ganesha on this day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mars is now in Capricorn. Mars is the war planet and will give you the willpower to do your spiritual practices. At this time your enemies can become your friends! This transit will light up your 10th house which is all about your professional life and community service, name and fame, achievement, honor and recognition.<\/span><\/p>\n

The world is in turmoil right now due to this virus pandemic, and it’s a good time to refocus your goals. Keep your health up and pray for the well-being of your friends and family! Be in your spiritual practice all the time. Live an extra-ordinary life in these extraordinary times! Starting with your family, forgive everyone. Be calm and compassionate!<\/span><\/p>\n

Shivaratri was a time when we experienced a 12-hour vigil meditating on Lord Shiva. A mini Shivaratri time happens every month on the 14th moon. Do your shivalingam hydration on this day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Purvabhadra is Dr. Pillai’s birthstar day and that is occurring on Sunday this week. Learn more about this star here<\/a>. Any teaching is going to wake up our soul. The teachings must be given to us by a Satguru, and Dr. Pillai is a Satguru, a fully enlightened master.<\/span><\/p>\n

The New Moon is happening on Monday. The moon represents the mind so when there is no moon, there is no mind. This is a good time to rewrite your destiny. Also, honor your ancestors on a new moon. Why do we want to honor our ancestors? These people have lived with problems and died with diseases. These problems are carried on to you through their spiritual DNA! Contact Lord Shiva on this day by doing your tarpanam ceremonies on this day. Roll lemons, limes, and coconuts on our bodies, shoulders, throat and head. Cut the citrus and smash the coconut to diffuse your karma. There are a few year-long program offered at Pillai Center and AstroVed: Cleanse Your Karma<\/a>, Ancestor Offerings<\/a>, and Financial Success<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday is when we begin Vasant Navaratri<\/a>. This is the Nine Nights of the Goddess and a time to remove disease, afflictions, and ignorance. There will be western fire labs<\/a> hosted by Pillai Center teachers. You can order this through Pillai Center. All fire labs will be recorded. There are a couple of courses, Goddess Wisdom<\/a> and Navaratri: Nine Nights of the Goddess<\/a> in the Pillai Center Academy. Do your practices to honor the Goddess as much as you can. A good time is from 11:15 PM to 12:15PM (at night).<\/span><\/p>\n

The 13th Moon<\/a> phase is called Pradosham, a karma-removing time. 1 1\/2 hours before sunset through sunset is the most powerful time to pray to Shiva to dissolve your bad karma. Hydrate a shivalingam by pouring water\/milk\/juice over it as you chant the karma busting mantra,\u00a0Thiru Neela Kantam Makaral Shivayanama<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/em>Visualize\u00a0blue light in your throat.
