Sucharita warmly welcomed us on the Pillai Center Powertime Practice YouTube video and call<\/strong> this Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020! We tune in weekly to find out what’s happening with Dr. Pillai<\/strong> and his latest teachings. Hindu temples will celebrate the Saturn transit in Capricorn on December 29. This is a powerful time to honor our work ethic. Saturn is the ruler and distributor of karma. He is in his own sign, Capricorn, and will be with Jupiter who represents fortune, luck, and grace.<\/span><\/p>\n

Saturn often doles out some adverse karma in order for us to learn our lessons. The tough things about Saturn are that he can create sadness and depression. This is why we may be feeling a bit off. We want to invoke Saturn’s life-transforming blessings at the same time that the temples celebrate. This is one of the most important and awaited transitions of all the planets.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Karma? Karma<\/a> is what we think, say, and do. Karma is our mindset.<\/strong> We have to watch what we do and say and even what we think. \u201cAs ye sow, so shall ye reap!\u201d Karma will come back to you in an equal and opposite action. Saturn will help you to deal with burning karma and Dr. Pillai is giving us the tools we need to do just that! We can honor Saturn by lighting a sesame oil lamp. Saturn will lead us to help others\u2014especially the elderly. An easy way to do this is donating to Dr. Pillai’s charity, Tripura Foundation<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Saturn is transiting into the Zodiac sign of Capricorn the 10th<\/sup> house. The 10th<\/sup> house is all about trying to find your life’s true purpose. What is your spiritual purpose? Who are we everyday when we walk out our door? Saturn will show you who you really are.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sucharita tells us a good way to see how the stars and planets are affecting who we are is to have an astrologer consultation<\/a>. This mystical science from our ancient seers, not only gives predictions but also remedies to dissolve your karma and course correct<\/a> your life in the right direction.<\/span><\/p>\n

The overlord of Saturn is Lord Hanuman, the monkey god who we also want to honor. Hanuman will give us the high self-esteem that we need to realize we are gods. Also, in our meditation, we are going to ask for the blessings of Jupiter. The name Jupiter means \u201cGuru\u201d, or the teacher. He is the dispeller of darkness. One way to honor Jupiter is to make a necklace of chickpeas, also called garbanzo beans or chana. Jupiter is not that comfortable in the sign of Capricorn, but with Saturn being there too, it is a little easier for Jupiter.<\/span><\/p>\n

In our meditation today, as always, we used sounds and mantras to connect with the higher beings that reside within ourselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

Muruga specializes in solving problems such as credit card debt, legal issues, health problems, etc. Call on Muruga by chanting\u00a0Om SaRaVaNaBaVa<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0on this day and by pouring milk\/juice\/water over a vel.<\/span><\/p>\n
