After analyzing the aftermath of a comet collision from the 1990s researchers have found evidence of incredibly strong winds with speeds of up to 1450 kilometers (279 miles) an hour near Jupiter&#8217;s poles. The team said these winds could represent a \u201cunique meteorological beast in our Solar System.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to their website, NASA has previously \u201cauthorized a mission extension for its Juno spacecraft exploring Jupiter. The agency\u2019s most distant planetary orbiter will now continue its investigation of the solar system\u2019s largest planet through September 2025, or until the spacecraft\u2019s end of life.
