The \u2018Chaitra\u2019 month is the first month of the Hindu calendar, the festival falls during the months between March-April of the English Calendar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href='https:\/\/www.pillaicenter.com\/specials\/vasant-navratri' class='big-button bigblue' target=\"_blank\">Join Now<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Other names of Chaitra Navratri<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Chaitra Navratri is also known as \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pillaicenter.com\/specials\/vasant-navratri\">Vasanta Navratri<\/a>\u2019 (Vasanta is the spring season) or \u2018Rama Navratri\u2019 as the ninth day of the Navratri festivity is celebrated as Rama Navami, the birthday of Lord Rama. The puja rituals and religious customs followed during this festival are very similar to the ones of the \u2018Shardiya Navratri\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Which Goddess is worshipped<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the first three days of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pillaicenter.com\/-P66731.aspx\"> Vasanta Navratri<\/a>, the devotees worship Durga, Lord Shiva\u2019s consort and the Goddess for power, on the following next three days, they worship Lakshmi, the wife of Lord Maha Vishnu and Goddess of wealth, and on the last three days of the festival devotees offer prayers to Saraswati, Lord Brahma\u2019s wife and Goddess of Knowledge.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The Nine Day Puja Rituals<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>On each of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pillaicenter.com\/Remedy-Services-Vasanta-Navaratri-All-Nine-Nights-Package-P64993.aspx\">nine days of Vasanta Navaratri<\/a>, devotees perform special puja rituals. Each day one form of Goddess is worshipped. On this day, the devotees observe the \u2018Kushmanda Puja\u2019 on this day.<\/li>\n<li>Navaratri Day 5 \u2013 The fifth day Panchami is the marked day to perform \u2018Naag Puja\u2019 and \u2018Skandamata Puja\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>Navaratri Day 6 \u2013 Shashthi, the sixth day is ideal to perform the \u2018Katyayani Puja\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>Navaratri Day 7 \u2013 Saptami \u2013 The seventh day of the Vasanta Navaratri is known as \u2018Maha Saptami\u2019 (the great seventh day) and the \u2018Kalratri Puja\u2019 is performed on this day.<\/li>\n<li>Navaratri Day 8 \u2013 Ashtami \u2013 eight day is an important day of the Chaitra Navaratri festival and is also known as \u2018Annapurna Ashtami\u2019.
