\"gemini\"<\/a>The Sun enters Gemini on the New Moon day, June 15, 2015, and will continue there through July 16th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Gemini, called Mithuna in Sanskrit, is a sign with a great range of energies. It is symbolized either by twins or by an embracing couple. In the case of the couple, the man is holding a club and the woman is holding a musical instrument called a lute. This illustrates that Gemini encompasses many energies spanning from the physical and brute force to the refined and artistic. Gemini has a lot to do with communication and the thinking mind.<\/p>\n

The Sun represents activity, so with Sun in Gemini, your activities may be more Mercury-like. You may want to do some research, reading, or study. It will be a good time to focus on communications, marketing, business, money, being quick and developing strategies.<\/p>\n

This is because Gemini is ruled by Mercury, who is a planet of communication, information, intellect, business, and money (also astrology!). Being ruled by Vishnu, Mercury has a lot to do with money. \u00a0Mercury is a very quick moving planet. If the Sun is the King, then Mercury is the Prime Minister or Crown Prince. Mercury always stays near the Sun, often alternating between direct (forward) movement and retrograde (backwards) movement. It\u2019s like the King sends out his Prime Minister to gather information about what is going on in the kingdom and report it back to him. Mercury and Gemini are quick-witted, playful, curious, and articulate. Mercury is in charge of information technology, business, logic, speaking languages, communications, and humor. On the down side, Gemini can sometimes be great with information and technological ability but lack ethics or moral compass, be irresponsible, start things without finishing them, or be too cunning and conniving.<\/p>\n

Mercury is no longer retrograde; he is direct in Taurus now, so there should be fewer interruptions to communications and technology. Mercury will enter Gemini on July 5th<\/span>. As he will be very strong in its own sign, this will be a good chance to develop your mercurial characteristics.<\/p>\n

Starting tomorrow, Mars will be transiting Gemini. This can make your mind and relationships with siblings\/friends more active, quick, and fiery. Be careful not to argue.<\/p>\n
