On Thursday, July 16, 2015, the Sun will enter Cancer, initiating the Tamil month of Aadi. This day is considered the Vedic Summer Solstice, after which the Sun will be traveling southward through the zodiac for the next 6 months.<\/p>\n

The vibrant Sun transiting Cancer this month is going to activate Goddess Consciousness<\/strong> in a big way. This is because the Sun (the King) will be in the Queen\u2019s house. Cancer, the most nurturing and emotionally sensitive sign, is ruled by the Moon (the Queen). Cancer, known as Karkata in Sanskrit, is a watery sign symbolized by the crab. Crabs are sensitive to their environment; they move between the sea and shore. They have a hard exoskeleton that protects their sensitive body.<\/p>\n

Goddess energy, or Shakti, is the creative force of the universe. We all have the potential inside us to develop a relationship with the Goddess and live her consciousness of love, abundance, intelligence, and positive manifesting.
