\u00a0We are so lucky to have an enlightened Being like Dr. Pillai to help us with our travels. This is an especially good time to remove karma.\u00a0 Pillai Center is having an Interactive Fire Lab<\/a> for this Pradosham.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tuesday August 30th<\/strong> is the 14th Waning Moon<\/strong><\/span>. This is one of the two days (the other is the 4th Moon) that Dr. Pillai tells us to propitiate Ganesha by offering Ganesh Grass, breaking coconuts, chanting mantras and praying to him.<\/span><\/p>\n Wednesday August 31st<\/strong> is New Moon Solar Eclipse<\/strong><\/span> \u2013 <\/strong>Time for Introspection and Spiritual Matters.\u00a0 The New Moon is the last Moon or 15th Moon in the waning cycle when the Moon is showing no reflective light. It is the Dark Moon. It is the moment when the Sun and Moon are in conjunction, meaning that the Sun and Earth are on the opposite sides of the Moon. From Earth we can only see the dark side, as the illuminated side is towards the Sun. The Sun and Moon are said to be in \u2018conjunction\u2019. We can benefit from the energies of Durga, Karuppaswamy <\/strong><\/span>and Hanuman<\/strong><\/span>, which are at their peak during this time, to fight darkness and to bring in the light by honoring the New Moon. It is a time to seek the blessings of these three Divine Beings to assist you with your ongoing battle of light and dark-positive and negative. It is the time to delve deep into the spiritual.
