This past week we have been immersed in the energy of the Goddess.\u00a0 It may not have been all been sweetness and light!\u00a0 Some of us have been slammed with all sorts of energies that may have been less than positive.\u00a0 This could be the releasing of negative energies that have been brought to the surface by the grace of the Goddesses.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Pillai teaches us that we can change our destiny by changing our karma<\/strong>.\u00a0 Karma<\/a> is simply thoughts<\/em>.\u00a0 Our own karma is a collection of all the thoughts that we are having or have had (in this life and all the past lives!).\u00a0 If we do nothing, our karma just continues to act itself out.\u00a0 If we use Dr. Pillai’s tools and techniques, we can jump off this merry-go-round of cause and effect, and begin to manifest exactly what we want, regardless of the path our karma has been taking us down<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sucharita tells us if we feel lost and stuck when we wake up in the morning, just say a mantra.\u00a0 Just chant \u201cGum Gum Gum<\/em><\/strong>\u201d which is Ganesha’s seed sound, before you even get off the bed. This will start the energy of Ganesha immediately and set the tone for the day.\u00a0 Ganesha is the Remover of all Obstacles, seen or unseen, so we will be getting off on the right foot!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Navaratri or Nine Nights of the Goddess<\/span> – <\/strong>Oct 1\u2013 10<\/strong>, 2016 <\/strong>Dr. Pillai has designated 10 different Goddesses (in addition to Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati) to propitiate during this event-one for each day.\u00a0 Today, Sunday Oct. 9<\/strong>, is the last night of Navaratri<\/a>.\u00a0 The<\/strong> 10th<\/sup> Karma Goddess<\/strong>that Dr. Pillai has designated<\/strong> is K<\/strong>amalathmika<\/strong> – She is the tantric form of Lakshmi who bestows prosperity, abundance, beauty and well-being. As one of the 10 Great Wisdom Goddesses, Kamalathmika is a primal female energy, an independent and all-powerful deity without any association with a male counterpart. Kamala blesses us with the pursuit of pleasure, fortune, talent and fame. She also grants the gift of devotion to the Divine. Kamalathmika controls the effects of planet Venus. The 13th<\/sup> Waxing Moon<\/span> \u2013 Thursday<\/strong>, Oct 13th<\/sup><\/strong>, 2016, <\/strong>All 13th Waning and Waxing Moon phase days are called Pradosham days and are opportunities to dissolve negative karma. When a Pradosham falls on a Thursday (the day ruled by Jupiter, who is called \u201cGuru\u201d in Sanskrit), it is known as Guru Pradosham. Guru means \u201cteacher.\u201d Guru Pradosham is a fantastic opportunity to reset your life. Spiritual practices on this day can clear previous negative karma that has been blocking the blessings or grace of your Guru reaching you.
