In fact, it\u2019s an unbroken spiritual tradition and its teachings have never become diluted thanks to its secrecy and oral transmission of the teachings.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Although they wrote some texts containing refined spiritual poems and invocations to the Divine, the Siddhas didn\u2019t divulge their powerful techniques for evolution and transmutation of their body into light.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, only an enlightened master is allowed to distribute this knowledge, but not without some opposition from the Siddhas themselves\u2014whose primary intention is to keep supernormal powers away from bad individuals, who could use them to harm others.<\/p>\n<p>Occasionally, Nadi readers of special palm leaves reveal the existence of messages from the great Siddha Agastya or some other Siddha.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>These missives contain methods to obtain miracles of healing, relationship bliss, financial good fortune or spiritual assistance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>To become a student, one has to be chosen, completely selfless, and a dedicated humanitarian.<\/p>\n<p>Only after meeting these requirements one can be invited to an initiation ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>So the Siddhas were selective and secretive then and today more than ever.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2ea3f2; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Happiness beyond your wildest imagination<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><em>Ananda<\/em><\/strong><strong> is a term signifying ultimate bliss\u2014which has become a name <em>de rigueur<\/em> for many enlightened masters within the Indian wisdom traditions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Are these masters really permanently blissful? I don\u2019t know. But certainly, the Siddhas are.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, all their practices and isolated living conditions have had these main goals\u2014attaining a pure and joyful state of consciousness, which in turn allows them to direct their entire lives to ending human suffering.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Pillai is a great advocate of bliss through right knowledge, spiritual initiation, karma removal, and problem solving through Siddha methods.<\/p>\n<p>He promises all this and more as he takes a selected group of students to sacred power spots, and on spiritual retreats in South India on the occasion of his birthday. During his <span style=\"color: #2ea3f2;\"><u><a style=\"color: #2ea3f2;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pillaicenter.com\/spiritual-tour-packages-india.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Birthday Trip program<\/a><\/u><\/span>\u2014January 30 &#8211; February 10, 2017\u2014all the participants will be initiated according to the teachings of the Siddha tradition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7866\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pillaicenter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/2-3.jpg\" alt=\"2\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In previous birthday trips, nearly all have experienced miracles in this annual program. And all have been so transformed that they said their lives had become \u201chappier and more meaningful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2ea3f2; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>From the words of other spiritual masters<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In his books, Swami <em>Muktananda<\/em>, a Siddha master, spoke extensively of the importance of bliss.<\/p>\n<p>In \u201cSecrets of the Siddhas\u201d he wrote, \u201cTo acquire pure <em>vikalpas<\/em> [or pure knowledge] \u2026 we should receive the Sadguru\u2019s instructions, practice <em>sadhana<\/em> [or spiritual practice], keep good company, and engage in uplifting conversation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA great being who has attained realization \u2026 experiences the bliss of God and the nectar of the totality of Consciousness.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also believed that the only cause of suffering is ignorance\u2014or the false knowledge that obfuscates our divine nature.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2ea3f2; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Supernormal powers<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>In his book \u201cThe Holy Science,\u201d Yukteswar Giri\u2014who is better known as Paramahansa Yogananda\u2019s great guru\u2014listed eight Siddhis or supernormal powers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201c1. <em>Anima<\/em>, the power of making one\u2019s body or anything else as small as he likes, even as an atom\u2014<em>anu<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c2. <em>Mahima<\/em>, the power of magnifying or making one\u2019s body or anything else <em>mahat,<\/em> as large as he likes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c3. <em>Laghima<\/em>, the power of making one\u2019s body or anything else <em>laghu,<\/em> as light as he likes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c4. <em>Garima<\/em>, the power of making one\u2019s body or anything else <em>guru,<\/em> as heavy as he likes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c5. <em>Prapti<\/em>, the power of <em>apti<\/em>, obtaining anything he likes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c6. <em>Basitwa<\/em>, the power of <em>basha<\/em>, bringing anything under one\u2019s control.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c7. <em>Prakamya<\/em>, the power of satisfying all desires, <em>Kama<\/em>, by irresistible willpower.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c8. <em>Ishitwa<\/em>, the power of becoming <em>Isha<\/em> or lord over everything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, Yukteswar believed that the true power of love, and hence bliss, is more than pure feeling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In fact, he said, \u201cLove is God.\u201d \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And as he quotes at the end of his book:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u201cLove rules the court, the camp, the grove,<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>The men below and saints above,<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For love is heaven and heaven is love.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Happy travels!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Keep up with the energies through <span style=\"color: #2ea3f2;\">Interactive Fire Labs\u00a0<\/span>from Pillai Center.
