Ask yourself, \u201cwhat is the purpose of my life?<\/em>\u201d<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 If we just close our eyes and gaze upwards toward the third eye, and calm our thoughts, we will get a sign from our higher self, the Divine that lives within us.\u00a0 There is some stirring within, it is our true nature.\u00a0 This is the little voice that we must listen to. We should dive into this energy, without too much or any thinking. Thinking involves the ego and the ego is the thing that messes us up!<\/span><\/p>\n

We are here to learn to pay attention to the stars and planets.\u00a0 This week there is a full moon and that brings a special energy or shakti<\/em>.\u00a0 Thai Poosam<\/span> <\/strong>means full moon in the month of Thai in the Pushya birth star. Muruga is also a god that destroys karma and on this Thai Poosam we can tap into Muruga’s energy.\u00a0 Read below to learn a little more about this special day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ganesha<\/span> <\/strong>is an important deity for us at this time. He has the head of an elephant and rides on a mouse.\u00a0 He is the remover of all obstacles, seen and unseen.\u00a0 We must concentrate on Ganesha where he resides at our root chakra and pay attention to the kundalini<\/em> or Goddess energy which protects and nurtures us.\u00a0 The root chakra is the sex chakra, the place of creativity.\u00a0 We must push the kundalini energy up our spine or shushumna, through the chakras, all the way to the third eye. The gods are inside of us and we can activate them by concentrating and meditating on these chakras. Karma shows up often at the throat chakra, so we must fire this chakra up with our attention. Then we reach the brain.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

By paying attention the positions of the planets in the sky, we can see where there may be roadblocks on our path.\u00a0 Sucharita recommends that we all get a personalized Saturn Transit Report<\/span><\/strong> to see how it is going to be affecting us.\u00a0 Also it’s a good thing to get an astrology reading to give us a roadmap for the next few months.\u00a0 These are available at AstroVed<\/a>. Sucharita also recommends that we all get a vel<\/span><\/strong>, the spear weapon of Lord Muruga.\u00a0 This will protect us from all sorts of maladies-accidents, arguments, bad karma, bad dreams, bad debts.\u00a0 Stick the vel into a lime or lemon to erase bad karma!\u00a0 Dispose of the lime in the trash or compost heap.<\/span><\/p>\n

13th Moon – Pradosham<\/span><\/p>\n

The 13th Moon phase is called Pradosham, a karma-removing time. This Pradosham occurs in the star of Punarvasu, on a Wednesday. This is a power time for resetting your karma, and developing discernment – intelligence to avoid accruing more bad karma in the future. The 13th Moon is the karma dissolving power time known as Pradosham. The Punarvasu star, which translates to \u2018good again\u2019, supports starting over. Wednesday is ruled by Mercury, the planet who gives intelligence and discernment to make the right choice in any given circumstance.
