We are just emerging from an intense Pradosham<\/span> <\/strong>(13th<\/sup> Moon) and this is a time we can use to wipe out karma by worshipping Shiva. She reminds us that since yesterday was Saturday, as well as the 13th<\/sup> Moon, things may have been a bit of a frustrating time because Saturn rules Saturday and Saturn doles out karma!\u00a0 Things do not \u201chappen\u201d to us and people do not \u201cdo things\u201d to us, we are the creators of everything that happens in our lives<\/em>. Dr. Pillai has given us the tools and techniques of how to re-create our realities.\u00a0 We can use these tools to by-pass our karma.\u00a0 He gives us methods to detour around the train wreck that may be coming ahead of us and to go smoothly on our way.\u00a0 Sucharita says that we don\u2019t have to wait for the 13th<\/sup> Moon to experience Pradosham because there is a Pradosham every day about 1 \u00bd hours before and after sunset when we can propitiate Shiva.<\/span><\/p>\n

And now today is the 14th<\/sup> Moon, Ganesha\u2019s time<\/span>.\u00a0 Ganesha is the elephant-headed God who is the remover of all obstacles, seen and unseen.\u00a0 What can we do on this day?\u00a0 Smash a coconut!\u00a0 Visualize putting all your obstacles in this coconut and then offering it to Ganesha, smash it!<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, we have just experienced a Maha Shivaratri, the Great Night of Shiva, a night to call upon the Archetype Shiva during his descent to the earth plane for prosperity, fulfillment of wishes, removal of sins, disease and debts. This was an opportunity for new things to begin to happen.\u00a0 Shiva can destroy the negativity in our lives and clear the way for new manifestations. \u00a0There is a Shivaratri<\/span> <\/strong>every month on the 14th<\/sup> Moon when we can honor Shiva.<\/span><\/p>\n

The New Moon<\/span><\/strong> will be coming up tomorrow.\u00a0 The New Moon is time to propitiate the ancestors.\u00a0 We carry the spiritual DNA of our ancestors, so it behooves us to help them to move to higher realms.\u00a0 This is a time to dive deeply inside and offer the ancestors rice powder and black sesame seeds to nourish their spiritual bodies and give them the energy they need to move along.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sucharita tells us that every single one of us on the planet has own own valid spiritual destiny and that each path is legitimate. She says that we should each have a sacred space where we do our spiritual practices that we should keep this space private. It is not good to have others touching our spiritual objects.\u00a0 Keep your altar clean and neat.\u00a0 Take cues from the deities on your altar and put their statues and pictures where they want to be! This can be fun and you get to spend time with your deities!<\/span><\/p>\n
