On April 13, 2017 at 4:30 pm EDT the Sun transits into the first house of the zodiac, Aries, and becomes exalted. Sun will be in Aries for one month.<\/span><\/p>\n

This transit brings in a new energy for the entire year, and is celebrated as the Vedic New Year. It is the Year of Success<\/strong><\/span>. Aries is the most action-oriented of all the signs.<\/strong> It is called Mesha in Sanskrit. Aries is a fiery, movable sign symbolized by a ram. A ram is an agile, adventurous animal that can climb up mountain slopes that look impossibly steep. Rams can butt heads with others.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, which relates to yourself, identity, and physical body. It is ruled by Mars, a planet of action, problem-solving, and courage. Exalted Sun will energize your goals and help you to take action to achieve them.<\/span><\/p>\n
