Namaste and good Saturday morning! Sucharita Welcomed us to the Powertime Call on this special day called Deepam, by putting up a picture of the mountain in India called Arunachala where Dr. Pillai is at this moment. The Full Moon in the Tamil month of Karthigai marks the victory of light over darkness and is celebrated as Karthigai Deepam. Deepam, a lighted lamp, is considered a symbol of auspiciousness which can ward off evil forces and usher in happiness and abundance. This is the power day to celebrate the light of intelligence which dispels the darkness of ignorance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Pillai’s prayer today is:\u00a0“Oh Arunachala Shiva! We need at this time your Grace so that we can see the mountain as Light and not as rock. Not only will we see it as a form of Light, but also the sight itself, the Darshan itself, can change us.”<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Sucharita showed us her altar with some rocks that actually came from that mountain and then lit some incense to purify the area and the call. She offered light and flower petals to awaken the Divine Beings that are waiting to assist us in any way that we ask.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sucharita gave us a mantra for our meditation consisting of the four states of consciousness and the four elements:\u00a0Ah Oo Ma Om Na Ma Si Va Ya<\/b>. During our meditation we connected with Siva on this auspicious day. Listen to the recording to of the meditation to learn what each of these sounds represent. We chanted the miracle mantra given to us by Dr. Pillai:<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n
