Good morning my dearest fellow spiritual traveler on this Saturday morning March 17, 2018!\u00a0 Sucharita welcomed everyone to the Powertime Practice<\/strong> call by reminding us that the next nine nights are the Nine Nights of the Goddess or Vasant Navaratri.<\/strong>\u00a0 We are going to be celebrating the energies of the Goddess today in our meditation.\u00a0 The first three nights are for Durga<\/strong>.\u00a0 Durga is a fierce Goddess who roots out all negative qualities or du\u1e25kha in our souls.\u00a0 Durga can help with relationships. The next three nights will be for the Maha Lakshmi,<\/strong> the Goddess of wealth.\u00a0 She will destroy blocks in our manifestations.\u00a0 The final three nights will be for Saraswati<\/strong>.\u00a0 She is the Goddess of education and creativity.\u00a0 She will root out ignorance and give wisdom.\u00a0 Wisdom is something that we cannot learn but must experience.\u00a0 Saraswati helps us to experience the wisdom of knowing when and how to speak.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sucharita performed a puja<\/em> or offering to the Goddesses by playing each goddess’s mantra and giving different gifts to them.\u00a0 First, as always, we propitiate Ganesha<\/strong> by chanting Om Gum Ganapataye Namaha<\/em>. Next we called on Shiva<\/strong> by concentrating, starting at the base of the spine, chanting Ah<\/em>, then to the heart chakra- Ooh<\/em>, next the throat chakra- Ma<\/em>, to the middle of brain-Om<\/em>, back down to base of the spine Na<\/em>, .on to the navel-Ma<\/em>, on to the heart –Shi,<\/em>to the throat and mouth-Va<\/em> , and finally to the two eyes and right and left brain-Ya<\/em>.\u00a0 We imagine Dr. Pillai in front of us, beaming a laser beam of light from his third eye to our third eye, asking him to open our third eye. Chant Om Drum Dattatreya Shiva Baba Namaha<\/em>.\u00a0 She offered incense and light from a ghee lamp to Ganesha, Lakshmi, Durga, and Saraswati. Then she offered fruit to the goddesses (lemon for Durga, orange for Lakshmi, apple for Saraswati). Next she chanted the seed sounds for the Goddesses while chanting (Dum<\/em> for Durga, Shreem<\/em> Brzee for <\/em>Lakshmi, Aim for <\/em>Saraswati), <\/em>and offering flower petals.<\/em>\u00a0 Be sure to watch or listen to the recording to see this entire beautiful ceremony.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sucharita told us that the 3-D version of the Goddess yantra<\/strong> is called\u00a0 Maha Meru<\/strong>, available here<\/a> and here<\/a> ..She also told us about the various programs available for the Goddess at this time.\u00a0 Go to AstroVed or Pillai Center for these programs<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 Two \u201cevergreen\u201d (available perennially) programs are also available at the Pillai Academy called Goddess Wisdom<\/a><\/strong> and also Navaratri<\/a>: 9 Nights of the Goddess<\/strong>.\u00a0 Do your propitiating of the Goddesses from 9:00 PM \u2013 2:00 AM for the next nine nights.\u00a0 She mentions the colors that awaken the consciousness of the Goddesses within ourselves-Red for Durga, Pink for Lakshmi and White for Saraswati.\u00a0 Wear these colors to enliven the goddesses within.\u00a0 Offer something sweet to the goddesses, also they like citrus fruit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sucharita mentioned that the program from the Pillai Center Academy called Wealth Rising<\/strong>, is just wrapping up but a new one will be starting in May.\u00a0 Sucharita has been performing Friday night Fire Labs<\/strong> in this program.\u00a0 Check into Pillai Center for registration.<\/span><\/p>\n
