The Virtual Retreat unfolds alongside Dr. Pillai's in-person Navaratri pilgrimage through 20+ sacred Goddess temples and Siddha power spots across Tamil Nadu. Your Fire Labs, meditations, and teachings are synchronized with the pilgrims' sacred journey through each temple, allowing you to connect with the same Divine Feminine energies and blessings.
As you’re participating from home, you'll follow the same sequence of temple energies, archetypes, and spiritual practices as the pilgrimage progresses. Each session is designed to connect you with the living spiritual current flowing through these ancient temple vortices, allowing you to participate in the pilgrimage experience from wherever you are.
On each of the six Navaratri nights when Dr. Pillai is not conducting a live initiation, Pillai Center teachers host a mini fire lab — using a ghee lamp to invoke the specific form of the Goddess identified by Dr. Pillai for that night. Through the medium of fire, these ceremonies invite the presence of the divine feminine and her gifts of protection, abundance, and wisdom into your life.
Each fire lab is followed by a guided meditation designed to tune your consciousness into the Goddess's energy — deepening your personal connection with her across all nine nights of the celebration.
As Dr. Pillai and the in-person group move through the sacred temples of India, you move with them. Through a private group, you receive real-time updates — videos, photos, and descriptions from each temple as the pilgrimage unfolds. Highlights from the journey, transmissions from significant powerspots, and the energy of each sacred site reach you directly, wherever you are.

At every temple the pilgrimage group visits, experienced priests perform immersive puja ceremonies — sound and light offerings — and Darshan on your behalf. Your name and birthstar are given to the priest at each temple, invoking your presence so that the Goddess's blessings are directed specifically to you.
At select temples, Abhishekam — sacred hydration ceremonies — and additional fire offerings are performed in your name. These are advanced ritual technologies rooted in thousands of years of Vedic practice, designed to create a direct energetic connection between you and the presiding deity — regardless of where you are in the world.
At a sacred Homa center in India, trained Vedic priests perform special rituals and fire ceremonies on your behalf across all nine nights of Navaratri — each one timed to the specific Goddess energy of that night. By inscribing your name and birthstar onto a copper plate, the yantra becomes a unique blueprint of your energetic essence.
Your yantra travels the full pilgrimage route with the group. It is placed at the feet of the presiding deity in the sanctum sanctorum, the innermost sacred chamber, at each temple. When the journey concludes, it is mailed to you: a charged object, consecrated in temples that most visitors never enter at this depth.

No. The initiation, teachings, and blessings are available whether you attend live or watch the recording later. While many enjoy participating live, the spiritual transmission is not limited by time, allowing you to receive the experience whenever you are able to participate.
Your birthstar (Nakshatra) is determined by the position of the moon at the time of your birth. You will need your date, time, and place of birth. After registration, we will provide a resource to help you identify yours.
