"The end of all teaching is superintelligence. When superintelligence comes, everything is there."
On Maha Shivaratri, Dr. Pillai introduced a transmission centered on Shiva’s Superintelligence as a living force accessible through sacred sound.
He described it as the culmination of all spiritual teaching, a direct way of accessing the intelligence behind creation itself. During that initiation, he spoke about continuing this work during each monthly Shivaratri:
“This will be a template that we want to use on every Shivaratri. There is a monthly Shivaratri too. On these days… I want to create a group of people who will join together and spend Shivaratri time with this worship. We can shorten the form to 20–30 minutes so everybody will be able to find time to do that.” — Dr. Pillai
For the next three Shivaratris, you have the opportunity to join him live during the powertime to continue that activation.
Maha Shivaratri is the night when Shiva’s consciousness becomes especially accessible—a powertime when karmic patterns loosen and higher intelligence descends.
But there is also a Shivaratri every month, observed on the 14th lunar night before the New Moon.
These monthly Shivaratris carry that same current, though in a more focused form. Rather than waiting an entire year, you step back into sacred timing each lunar cycle.
For those who experienced the Maha Shivaratri initiation, this is a way to remain within that current of transmission.
For those who did not, it is an opportunity to enter into it
“The purpose is to gain superintelligence… not through sweat, not through reading thousands of books, not meditating for longer periods of time. What to expect after having practiced it, you will see that your thoughts become super thoughts, effortless thoughts not coming from your human self, but from Shiva himself.”
In the Shaivite tradition, Shiva is not removed from daily life. He represents awareness within work, relationships, decisions, and responsibility. Dr. Pillai often speaks of living a “200% life” — fully engaged spiritually and materially.
Returning each month during Shivaratri supports that integration. Over time, this transmission begins to influence how you think, respond, and act.
The changes may be subtle at first. With consistency, they deepen.
Each Shivaratri gathering will be a concise and focused live transmission window.
These gatherings are intentionally kept accessible in length. As Dr. Pillai mentioned at the end of his Maha Shivaratri initiation, the form can be shorter so that more people are able to take part.
Recordings will be available if you are unable to attend live.
*Program components vary by package level.
Each month, during the Shivaratri powertime, Dr. Pillai will join live for a focused teaching aligned with that lunar window. These sessions are intentionally concise and centered on practice rather than theory.
His guidance will draw from the Shiva-centered transmission given during Maha Shivaratri and continue the monthly Shiva mantra practice in a way that fits into daily life.
Immediately following Dr. Pillai’s live teaching, a senior Pillai Center teacher will guide you through meditation and mantra chanting so you can engage the practice with clarity and confidence. You’ll be led step by step, making it easy to settle into the sound and focus of the mantra without overthinking the process.
Practicing together in real time creates a shared field of attention that many participants find strengthening. Over three months, this repeated engagement can help the mantra feel more familiar and integrated rather than occasional.
