AstroVed will be invoking one such powerful Goddess named Maha Mariamman for protection and rejuvenation. It is a traditional practice that pre-dates the Vedic system of worship to invoke the supreme guardian angel Maha Mariamman to protect villages from negativities creating problems for physical, psychological, and emotional well-being. Warmly regarded as the Peoples’ Goddess, Maha Mariamman exhibits two aspects- one is calm, compassionate and auspicious, and another is fierce, unforgiving, and wild. As per village legends, she shows her peaceful and loving aspect towards devotees and fulfills their wishes. At the same time, she cannot tolerate evil energies and becomes fierce and unforgiving towards such energies troubling her devotees.

What Will I Receive?
You will receive the sacred grey ash powder from the homa and Kum-Kum which will be blessed in the rituals. Keep this on your meditation altar and wear it on your forehead during meditation or at other times to expand the Divine blessings into your life.
