Participate in AstroVed’s Mahalaya Paksha New Moon Package (Sep. 25) Services on Mahalaya Amavasya as it is known as Sarva Pitru Amavasya and is the ideal day to perform Tarpanam if you have not done so previously. Performing Tarpanam on Mahalaya Amavasya helps pacify ancestors whose date of death is unknown, or those who died in an accident or from weaponry, or childless ancestors. This can help you overcome the impact of bad karma or amplify the impact of performing charity on this day.
