Rudraksha is made from the seeds of the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree. We can find these dry seeds mainly in South Asia. Rudra means ‘Shiva,’ and Aksha means ‘tears.’ Hence, Rudraksha means the tears of Shiva.

The Rudraksha Mala is often adorned with a copper string for its dual significance. Rudraksha beads, revered for their association with the deity Shiva, are utilized for meditation and prayer and are believed to possess spiritual energy. Incorporating a copper string adds to this symbolism. It is esteemed for its conductivity, facilitating the flow of subtle energies within the body, and purifying properties, which help dispel negativity.
