Akshaya Tritiya, the special 3rd Phase of the Moon, is the day to invite wealth consciousness into your life. This is a time when you nurture and cultivate your inner attitude and outer reality of non-declining or non-decreasing wealth.
Everything that is going to give good fortune, joy, and happiness belongs to Lakshmi. Even the very word “Lakshmi” means “auspicious.” During Akshaya Tritiya, light & sound rituals (Archana) to Lakshmi will be performed at her 8 powerspots. Ghee Lamps will also be lit at these powerspots on this day. This will help promote auspicious activities and receive the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi.
The 16 forms of Goddess Lakshmi are known as Shodasa Lakshmi and worshipping them is considered more commendable as the devotee will be bestowed with all forms of prosperity.
Royalty rituals for non-declining wealth will also be performed on this day. Poojas will be performed to Gaja (elephant), ashwa (horse), and Go (cow) and are being honored for their sacred powers. These are not just incredible animals, but they also symbolize royalty, power, magnanimity, energy, love, and abundance.
Helping the poor with needed items is the key to receiving material and spiritual blessings. Giving on Akshaya Tritiya produces great returns. If you have been planning on giving, this is that day. Donate umbrellas and sandals for the poor on this day. You will receive a Vastu Lamp and a copper Shreem Brzee and Sri Chakra pendant (Shreem Brzee on one side and Sri Chakra on the other side), which will be energized in the Akshaya Tritiya rituals.
What Will I Receive?

The ritual is the carbonization of thoughts. Carbon is our information bearing atoms. The carbon residue (ash) given out as Prasad is to be placed on the third eye area of the participants and carries the blessings of the archetypes invoked.
