“I’ve been fascinated by Tesla, especially about his incredible mind and the inventions he made. He literally wasn’t a human being. I’ve never known anybody who had that kind of physical tenacity and also the power to stay up for 20 hours a day, working on projects.
“To illustrate some of the yogis’ powers, there will be many videos in which I’ll talk about Tesla’s accomplishments. I started doing research on him and what came to my mind was that, although he was in a human body, his power came from occult sources.
“He describes what happened to him. There are books about him saying he was a sorcerer, but not in a bad sense. He has also been called a messiah.
“So sorcerer and messiah don’t really mean much, except that he was doing extraordinary supernatural things.
“He said he was able to see the connection between his imagination—an image in his mind—and the physical object.
“When he was very young, he called that an affliction: when he thought a word, the object appeared before him. It was so tangible that he could even put his hand on it. His brother Dan also had similar experiences—probably because of genetics.
Scientific Explanation
“What happened to him can be explained scientifically and from the point of view of siddhi powers explained by the Siddhas and yogis. They are able to create things from their minds. They create tridimensional objects.
“I also remember that in the Jewish tradition—particularly in the Zohar—a Jewish mystical text called the Kabbalah, the Cabbalists were able to do that too.
“Abraham, for instance, was able to create a goat that he wanted to sacrifice just by meditating on the word goat. This is so fascinating to me and I want to do something with it during this program.
“This has been precisely explained by the Siddha and the yogis, who said that the name and the form are one and the same.
“The name, the idea and the object [are the same], as Plato described.
Indian Mysticism and Super Powers
“Because I am an Indian mystic, I have access to Indian mysticism.
“In Indian mysticism, electric current is considered to be evil. That’s why even in Hindu temples, you don’t find electricity in the sanctum sanctorum.
“I’ve also read some yogis and Siddhas complaining that electricity is evil. I wouldn’t want to call it evil. Because electricity in my opinion is not evil. Definitely it’s been a blessing to us. Without electricity, modern Western civilization would fall apart. And we really have to thank Tesla for electricity.
“Tesla had access to supernormal powers. One thing that really interests me about the whole thing is that supernormal powers exist and are found in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra, which I have taught many times.
“I will talk about attaining supernormal powers during the Guru Purnima program, ‘How You Can Acquire Supernormal Powers’.
“The most important thing is that I’ll give you a mantra. The Guru has to give the mantra to you. That’s the tradition. In fact, the mantra won’t work even without a Guru.
