Pillai Center is looking for a highly motivated and proactive Marketing Manager to manage all of our marketing department and initiatives. The Marketing Manager will be coordinating with team leads to create new and innovative ways to expand our branding. We are looking for somebody who is passionate about marketing and business growth. The Marketing Manager will need to be extremely hands on and be able to dive in and work with the team to create strategies and processes for all our marketing efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities

Primary duties and responsibilities, not limited to:

  • Building and managing a marketing team (sales, email, social media, etc.), which includes hiring new resources
  • Review and approval of all marketing initiatives (sales pages, editorial calendars, emails, funnels, etc.)
  • Provides content vision and content strategic initiatives
  • Liaises with the team to strategize new sales and promotion opportunities
  • Works with the team to creates high-quality marketing content across digital, mobile and social platforms
  • Drives strategies that are proven by testing and metrics; uses the website and traditional campaign analytics to identify trends, measures data, and enhances content performance and traffic
  • Coordinates with managers regarding deliverables, deadlines, and priorities
  • Leads brainstorm meetings with the content team; reviews editorial calendars, content plans and resource needs
  • Coordinates with respect to day-to-day coverage of the team and works with project managers to schedule dedicated editorial hours per program and assess needs for additional assistance
  • Identifies workflow objectives and priorities and works with the project managers to create and finalize production schedules
  • Identifies and explores new and innovative content delivery trends (such as SEO and SEM models) and assesses product relevance
  • Understands and navigates traditional and emerging digital media platforms

Required:

  • Strong technical knowledge of online platforms, in order to give diagnostics and recognize potential data corruption.
  • 5 years in web marketing, with at least 3 years as a specialist in web analytics.
  • Proven experience in optimization and “course-correction” projects with appropriate results.
  • Organized, autonomous and detail oriented.
  • Good communication and strong ability to explain results and principles in clear language.
  • Experience with the following tools or methodology: Google Analytics, Facebook insights and YouTube Analytics, Paid Search, Organic Search and affiliate programs, email funnels, program development
  • Split, A/B and multivariate testing
  • ROI potential analysis
  • Offline and online media benchmarks
  • Dashboard visualization best practices
  • Principals, strengths and weakness of Market researches and surveys

Duties:

  • Bringing design solutions to life which adhere to marketing strategies and business goals
  • Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics
  • Assist the Project Manager in producing and overseeing digital and print creative solutions to address our marketing needs
  • Executing design tasks from conception to production, including websites, and brochures
  • Contribute to a professional, proactive, collaborative culture within Pillai Center and work effectively with diverse personnel at various levels of the organisation, developing productive working relationships with staff and key contacts in different functions

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively, flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues within and beyond the immediate work unit to achieve team and organisational objectives
  • Proven work experience as a Senior Designer, Graphic Designer or similar role
  • Demonstrated experience with relationship building and negotiation skills including the ability to work effectively with team members
  • Hands-on experience with image editing software, like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Proficient in design software
  • User interface and user experience
  • Preferred: Experience in Illustrator, Flash and coral draw
  • Preferred: Html, CSS, jquery Knowledge

You will be responsible for creating effective strategies for how our company uses social media platforms. You will work closely with the marketing team and the managers to develop new techniques for engagement and organic social conversion for list and follower growth.

You’ll take full ownership and responsibility for the evolution and implementation of our social media strategy with a focus on education and brand awareness. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively think of new and creative ways to curate our channels with interesting product-led content that achieves our KPI’s which include engagement, traffic generation and acquisition.
  • Creating weekly/monthly reports (and ad-hoc reports for major marketing campaigns, sponsorships, etc.)
  • Creating and/or curating content (writing copy, designing or modifying graphics, editing videos)

  • Work independently (as well as part of a Social Media team, and Marketing team) and use your initiative to come up with and execute new content ideas.
  • Review and analyze posts for strategic shifts to encourage growth.
