The Pillai Center is seeking a talented video editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches with the company’s vision. The ideal candidate is passionate about video editing and creative content creation.

This is a remote position

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Improve video quality using various video software
  • Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video’s creation
  • Edit video to include music, video, sound clips and other important aspects of the project
  • Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency
  • Compiling story with creative editing and sound ie. Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
  • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the final output
  • Proven work experience as a video editor
  • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
  • Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
  • Create videos from scratch based on requirements

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in film editing or related degree is preferred
  • Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs
  • Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
  • Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with the team and the ability to bring them to life
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to work comfortably in a deadline-driven environment
  • Possess a positive, solution-oriented attitude with a keen eye for process and product improvements
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
  • Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects

We are seeking an adept and forward-thinking Marketing Manager, preferably with experience in E-Commerce, EduTech, or Internet industries, specializing in marketing strategy and new product launches. As the Marketing Manager, you will spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at driving online sales growth and successfully introducing new products. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure alignment with business objectives and deliver impactful marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with senior management to develop annual marketing programs, design marketing strategies, and implement marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct research and analysis, establish data management and tracking systems to improve marketing efforts, and identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, optimizing accordingly.
  • Create and maintain monthly/quarterly & annual analytics reporting across multiple platforms, extracting key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.
  • Prepare and present quarterly and annual reports to senior management, and manage the annual marketing budget, regularly monitoring expenditures and preparing summary reports.
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging both internal & external support and driving collaboration across teams.

  • Proven experience in marketing management roles, preferably in Ecommerce, EduTech, and Internet Industries.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex problems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills.
