The Pillai Center is seeking a talented video editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches with the company’s vision. The ideal candidate is passionate about video editing and creative content creation.

This is a remote position


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Improve video quality using various video software
  • Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video’s creation
  • Edit video to include music, video, sound clips and other important aspects of the project
  • Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency
  • Compiling story with creative editing and sound ie. Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
  • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the final output
  • Proven work experience as a video editor
  • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
  • Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
  • Create videos from scratch based on requirements

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in film editing or related degree is preferred
  • Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs
  • Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
  • Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with the team and the ability to bring them to life
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to work comfortably in a deadline-driven environment
  • Possess a positive, solution-oriented attitude with a keen eye for process and product improvements
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
  • Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects
  • 5 – 7 years of experience being in video editing

Salary Package: 2.5-6 Lacs P.A.

EReports To: Marketing Project Manager


Description:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for organizing and monitoring Pillai Center’s marketing projects and coordinating the team efforts to drive projects to completion. The coordinator will act as a liaison between the email marketing, social media, and management teams.

Responsibilities:

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the following types of projects and tasks:


Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Launches: (our preset campaigns that align with our yearly programs and timely events.)
  • Creating marketing documentation that contains all the pertinent information for the teachers, writers, and social media team.
  • Work with the social media to ensure marketing campaigns are in line with the timelines provided
  • Reviewing and QA processes to ensure that content that is posted is accurate
  • Coordinate with teachers to ensure they know what calls they are hosting and what they are promoting on those calls
  • Coordination with designer and team for Sales pages/Opt-ins/Upsells/Store posts and Seo
  • Setting Up Campaigns on ActivCampaign, creating tags, forms and writing/setting Thank You pages and Purchase mailers.
  • Setting all campaign taks on Monday.com
  • Making updates to Pillaicenter homepage on daily basis
  • Creating specific tasks on zoho
  • Editing banners on Canva as needed
  • Active Participation in the Marketing Scrum and Social Media meetings.

Events: This includes virtual and in-person events by a teacher or Dr. Pillai

  • Active Participation in the Marketing Scrum and Social Media meetings.
  • Provide visibility to the Manager – what is being done and re-assign as needed.
  • Work with the teachers/hosts to get dates, times, and topics
  • Work with the social media team to have events posted on social media platforms
  • Working with designers to get banners for cross-posting in emails, on-site, and social media
  • Working with the video and transcription teams to prepare the video and handle video aftercare
  • Assigning chat supports, posting time card and updating spreadsheet for Webinars and Chanting calls
  • Weekly webinar support of scheduling clicksend reminders, ensuring video and chatroll is in place and coordinating post session page updates.
  • Creation of Dr. Pillai’s Summary of Promises, if any, before webinars.
  • Creation of Webinar Outline document.

Admin

  • Frequent calls with management to stay apprised of the current status of all marketing efforts
  • Communicate with all relevant departments to ensure they are on the right track with timing and creation of marketing materials.
  • Regular reviews of PC Homepage, Social Media handles and Events Calendar.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to adjust and revise work processes in order to increase efficiency
  • Provide daily communications to ensure that staff is aware of looming deadlines.
  • Regularly track and update project statuses
  • Develop work schedules for various departments to ensure projects and processes are on schedule
  • Inform project teams of any updates and changes as and when they occur
