Order Cancellation

How do I cancel an order?

Pillai Center believes in complete customer satisfaction and transparency in the order cancellation process. To satisfy our customers’ needs, Pillai Center keeps a very liberal “Return Policy” on purchases made from our website. In the unlikely event of a customer expressing dissatisfaction with the authenticity or quality of the products and services purchased from Pillai Center, we will initiate a refund for the full value of the purchase. However, please note that:

  • The purchased product should be returned to us within a week of delivery at the customer’s own expense
  • Any FREE GIFTS provided along with the original purchase of the product must be returned
  • Pillai Center will not reimburse the shipping charges
  • Refunds are always issued to the original payment method or account from which Pillai Center received payment for the refunded product

Online Cancellation Details

The customer cannot initiate online cancellation from their order log. The customer must contact the Customer Relationship Management team to request a cancellation or to inquire about any cancellation related questions/clarifications.

How long will it take to process my cancellation request?

If the customer requests cancellation of item❨s❩, please allow for a minimum of 1-2 business days to process the request and 3-4 days to initiate the refund. An email will be sent notifying the customer of the status thereon, and the refund will be processed soon after we receive the canceled item❨s❩ in good shape. However, if the customer chooses to have the money reimbursed to their bank account, the process entails a period of 7-10 business days for the refund to be issued, after receiving the returned item❨s❩.

Can I cancel a part of the order?

No. A customer cannot cancel a part of the order.

Who should a customer contact to receive a refund to their bank account?

Please send an email to office@pillaicenter.com detailing your bank account information. We request that you send the beneficiary name, account number, bank branch, IFSC code and your mobile number to facilitate expedited action.

How do I return an item purchased at Pillai Center?

Pillai Center has created a simple refund policy keeping our customer’s best interests in mind. Please note that the customer must send the product back in its original condition without any damage, at his/her own cost through a courier service. Pillai Center will, under no circumstances, be liable for a refund if the product is found tampered with, damaged, or defective in any way upon return. *Products customized as per the customer’s requirements will not be exchanged or refunded under any circumstances.

Refund for Products

How will I get my money back if I have paid via COD?

Please call us on our Skype Account ID at office@pillaicenter.com to speak to a customer support executive or email us at office@pillaicenter.com. Once your request is registered and we have received the returned product, we shall transfer the money to your bank account via NEFT.

To initiate a bank transfer, customers must provide the following bank details to office@pillaicenter.com:

  • Beneficiary name
  • Account Number
  • Bank Name
  • Bank Branch
  • IFSC code
  • mobile number

How will I get my money back if I have paid via Debit Card?

Customers can call our helpline number to speak to a customer support executive or email us at office@pillaicenter.com with your bank account details. After receiving the product in its original state, we will refund the full purchase amount to your bank account.

How will I get my money if I have paid via Credit Card?

You can call our helpline number to speak to our customer support executive or email us at office@pillaicenter.com. Once your request is registered and we have received the refunded product in its original condition, we shall credit the full purchase amount to the same Credit Card used to purchase the product.

Refund Procedure for Homas/Poojas

All homas ❨Fire labs❩ and Poojas performed by Pillai Center on behalf of the customer are performed following Vedic procedures, conducted by priests who are expertly trained to perform the rituals. If any of our customer’s name/birth star has been missed by mistake while performing Group Homas/Poojas during the purchased event, that particular name/birth star can be accommodated in another Fire Lab/Pooja. In the unlikely event of a failure to accommodate, the customer can request a refund for the amount if he/she so wishes.

Rescheduling an Individual Homa

Please note that in the case of a rescheduling request for the individual Homa/Pooja, the customer must inform the Customer Relationship Management team requesting to reschedule at least 48 hours before the scheduled event, allowing time for the team to cease preparations and necessary arrangements can be made for rescheduling the Homa/Pooja.

Further updates on the date and time of the rescheduled ritual❨s❩ will be communicated through email to the customer.
