Part 1 – Remove Negative Karma on a 13th Moon

  • Saturday, May 12 is a 13th moon or pradosham, and it happens twice a month. It is a window of time when we can dump karma. Visualize a blue light at the throat burning out the karma that is stored at the throat.  Chant “Thiru Neela Kantam” as you so this. Keep track of powertimes using the Astroved calendar.

 

Part 2 – Karma Busting Pooja + Mother’s Day + Sun Enters Taurus

  • Learn to do a simple ritual to remove negative karma. Invoke Ganesha, Nandi, and Siva Linga. A good technology to remove karma is to roll limes and lemons around the throat and shoulders. Slice them and toss into the compost heap. They absorb negative energy. 
  • Mother’s Day is all about the love and appreciation for the Mother who brought us into the world and for the Divine Mother who gives us unconditional love. It is also a 14th moon, a special day for Ganesha.  This is a time to smash coconuts while chanting his seed sound “Gum”. 
  • Sun enters Taurus on May 14. This is the time to build wealth consciousness.

  • Shreem Brzee meditation for building your wealth consciousness. Lakshmi’s consort is the beautiful blue being Vishnu; his mantra is Om Namo Narayanaya. Picture him swirling around as a blue light in your heart chakra.

 

Part 4 – New Moon + Saturn’s Birthday

  • Are you experiencing Saturn’s blessings or difficulties?
  • Pooja to Lord Saturn for his birthday.
  • The New Moon is all about starting new, wiping the slate clean. Everything is affected by the moon.  It also happens to be the birthday of Saturn.  This is a great time to honor Saturn, the one who doles out karma.  Propitiate Saturn by helping out the elderly and the poor.  Feed crows with chickpeas.  Do an Abhishekam to a Siva lingam chanting “Om Sanicharaya Namaha”.
  • Invoke Lord Hanuman for help with Lord Saturn. 5-Faced Lord Hanuman will be invoked on May 18. Plant the seed of Saturn’s Grace.
