Hello fellow spiritual travelers! Sucharita welcomed us on this Pillai Center and AstroVed Powertime Practice call March 9, 2019 by reminding us why we are here together. We are here on these calls to learn the tips and tools to get more out of the teachings of Dr. Pillai, our enlightened teacher. Also, by gathering together our spiritual energy is amplified many times in strength. We are here to learn about time!
This past week was The Great Night of Siva, the god who resides inside of us! He gives us prosperity and enlightenment. There is a course on the Pillai Academy called The Great Night of Siva which we can listen to and participate in all year!
Last week we also had the Rahu/Ketu transit into Gemini and Sagittarius. These shadowy planets can cause us to feel out of sorts. These nodes of the moon will be in these signs for 18 months. Learn more here. Also, we can get an astrological reading that can tell us what the influences will be in store for each of us during this Rahu/Ketu transit. Each day we can see where the Rahu or poison time is. We can see this on the Panchang which is located on the home page of AstroVed.com. Any activity or journey undertaken during Rahu time is believed to meet a significant degree of failure. As Rahu moves through Gemini we may feel out of balance. We may have to look at our relationships because there may be problems there.
How do we counteract the influences of these planets and our karma? Dr. Pillai has given us several karma-removing techniques, such as rolling coconuts, lemons and limes on our throats, and all the chakras and then smashing the coconuts and cutting the lemons and tossing them out! Ganesha likes the coconuts and Durga loves the lemons and limes! Ganesha is the elephant-headed god who is the remover of all obstacles and Durga is the goddess who protects us like a mother.
Tuesday is the day to honor Mars and Muruga. Muruga is a the brother of Ganesha and is a warrior, so that energy will be woken up in us on that day. Also it is the 6th Moon and this is Lord Muruga’s special time. Stick the spear of Muruga or vel in a lemon on this day to destroy dark forces and open the third eye. Get a vel here.
The Eighth Moon is starting on Wednesday and coincides with the Sun transiting into the sign of Pisces. The Eighth Moon is the time to propitiate the god of time Kala Bhairava. He has a dog that accompanies him. Feeding dogs is a good thing to do! This 8th moon is a time for miracles!
Gayatri, the sun goddess, has the goddess energy that awakens creativity. She will ask you to share your creativity with the world-maybe through the internet?
