Sucharita welcomed us this morning to the call April 30, 2017, one and all, old and new with a message about how fast time flies, especially if you are having fun! We are on this call every Sunday to find out what’s in store for our soul in the upcoming days and weeks! Also Sucharita helps us to figure out how to apply Dr. Pillai’s teachings in our everyday life. There are two web sites that Dr. Pillai has, that are loaded with tips, tools and teachings to guide us through our lives- AstroVed.com and Pillaicenter.com. Visit these sites to see how much is available, free and tuitioned, to help us on our way on our spiritual paths. Sucharita tells us that there will be a few Pillai Center teachers out and about, initiating people into the Shreem Brzee energy, and many other teachings will be available. Sucharita mentioned that right now there are a lot of planets in retrograde, which means they look like they are moving in reverse. Mercury is in retrograde now, so we must be sure to check our means of communication and technology, things that Mercury controls. These are the types of time energies or shaktis that we need to pay attention to so we can understand what seems to be happening to us. This is when we need to dive deep inside and connect with the deities of the planets. We must find out what the Divine is asking of our soul. We are the “Spark of the Divine” that is expressing itself through us.

Dr. Pillai has asked us to commune with the Holy Spirit at 8:20 PM every night through the deity Kalki Karuppaswamy-the God of Justice, (read about Kalki Karuppaswamy here), especially if things seems stuck for you in this time when the sun is transiting Aries. Even Dr. Pillai, a fully enlightened being in a human body, connects with Karuppaswamy to get rid of karma. Karma is your thoughts, so we must decide which thoughts we are going to grab onto! We have Dr. Pillai’s teaching to help us know how to undo our thoughts (IE. get rid of our karma). Other things we can do are Abishekam (hydration) of yantras and lingas or we can “feed” our ancestors by performing tarpanam.
Sucharita reminds us that we should get an AstroVed calendar (available here) so we can see when to tune into the Shaktis that are available for us every day. We are now on a waxing cycle of the moon and this is a time that we can take advantage of the energies to create what we want, whether it be health, wealth or relationships. The calendar is like a road map that will show us the short cuts and the detours around our karmic crashes! Also she reminds us to watch the fire labs at AstroVed TV and we will feel our karma being burned!

The 6th Waxing Moon (called Shasti in Sanskrit) is the most appropriate time to win the battle against negativity and evil eyes. This is a peak day for absorbing the energies of Lord Muruga (a divine warrior/healer) and the planet Mars. Muruga specializes in solving problems such as credit card debt, legal issues, health problems, etc. Call on Muruga by chanting Om SaRaVaNaBaVa on this day and by pouring milk/juice/water over a vel. 11th Moon – Ekadasi
Ekadasi is a Sanskrit word meaning eleven. It falls every month twice on the waxing and waning phase of the moon. These days indicate the high and low tides of the sea. The first Ekadasi occurs when the moon is closest to the earth and the next occurs when the moon is farthest from the earth. There are 24 Ekadasis in a year. It is an important fasting day dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Along with Lakshmi, Vishnu brings a life of prosperity, limitless abundance and spiritual growth. On the 11th Moon, the energies of Vishnu that can create prosperity and wealth are at its peak. Honor Vishnu on this day. Vishnu is in charge of heaven. Perform the tarpanam for departed ancestors this day. Chant Om Namo Narayanaya. Lord Krishna says to Arjuna in the first chapter of the Bhagvad Gita, “If a person fasts on Ekadasi, I will burn up all his sins and bestow upon him My transcendental abode .Indeed, Ekadasi is the most meritorious day for destroying all kinds of sins, and it has appeared in order to benefit everyone.”
