  5. Dr. Pillai: Did Jesus...

Below is a condensed version of Dr. Pillai’s Easter message about Jesus, the resurrection, and How to connect with the Holy Spirit. Watch the video for the full version.

Did Jesus resurrect?

It’s an important question because it doesn’t make sense to the rational mind. When he resurrected, people didn’t believe that he came back to life.

First of all, people don’t die. Your body dies. The first experience you have after death, is that you realize that you are not dead. You see for the first time that you’re still living, without the body, in the astral plane. Science cannot prove everything, but your experience can.

Jesus could, at will, manifest a physical body too. Gods, Saints, Yogis, and Rishis, periodically do that for a short time. They either resurrect, or not resurrect. They either appear in the form of somebody, or themselves, and then they leave.

The Secret to Miracles

Jesus resurrects on a daily basis. To whom? To those who can really believe that he’s around.

Oral Roberts explained it to people long ago. It’s is in a black and white YouTube video, and he was healing. “I am able to do all of these miracles, how? I don’t do it. It is Jesus who is doing it… And how do I do that? I see Jesus here, not with my physical eyes, but with my mind’s eye. He is telling me: Go and touch this boy, and this boy will speak, and this boy will hear.”

Jesus said, “If you have faith, you can move mountains,” because faith takes you into a different dimension of reality where you can see miracles happening.

Look at Lazarus’s case. Jesus made it very clear during every time he healed: “I’m not doing anything. I’m just only using your faith. Your faith did all of these miracles.”

This is true of not only Jesus. It is true of any God that you want to believe. It’s true of even a Saint, or a Prophet. If you have faith in them, they will be able to do miracles for you.

Jesus’ Great Exit Plan

God sent Jesus here for a purpose: to get people out of suffering. Many were against him, so he said: “I’m going to try another method.”

I’m going to read the passage now. “If you love me, keep my commandments. And I will  pray to the Father, and he shall give you another comforter, and he may abide with you forever. Even the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive because it seeth him not. Because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him, but know him. But ye know him.” This is about the Holy Spirit.

He also says: “He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless.”

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, which the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, what-so-ever I have said unto to you.” And finally he says: “Peace I leave with you. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give unto you. Not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. So I am going to leave my peace with you.” That’s the greatest gift.

The Holy Spirit is Breath

The true Christianity lies in understanding the Holy Spirit. Mohini, my student, has done a lot of teachings on the Holy Spirit in videos you can watch online.

You can reach God through the Holy Spirit. On the Pentecostal Day, I will give another session on it. Benny Hinn, the evangelist, has a great exposition about how the wind and the breath are the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

The Hindu Tradition has a lot to say about the Holy Spirit, both in terms of the wind, and also the breath. The Wind God, who is a miracle maker like Hanuman, the Monkey God. He’s the son of the wind blowing. He has a tremendous amount of power to do things impossible. That’s the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit as breath is what gives you life.

The Best Way to Contact the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit  is the conduit for giving us a connection with God. The best way you can contact the Holy Spirit is by “Speaking in Tongue.”

A Pentacostal church is very useful in a practical sense. They “Speak in Tongue” and go into a trance-like condition, and then they do gibberish. After a few minutes of gibberish, or hours, or maybe a half hour of gibberish, then the interpretation will come to you.

Why Gibberish?

If you want to talk to God, you have to get out of your mind. If you still keep your mind, you won’t be able to talk to God because it will be your mind talking to him… That gibberish will be understood by God.

In Oral Robert’s small book called “The Holy Spirit,” he says the interpretation comes in your own language. The gibberish itself has no structure. You will know for sure. Your heart will know. Your soul will know the answer.

The Kingdom is Within You

I was just reading “The Yoga of Jesus” by Paramahamsa Yogananda. “Behold The Kingdom of God is within you” is at the top of the book.

Jesus’ prayer is about God, about getting to Heaven. “Thy Kingdom, it has to get to this world. Thy Kingdom come down to the earth, as it is in Heaven.” The Kingdom has to come to earth.

Then he also said: “I am going to go ahead of you, and then prepare a place for you in Heaven. “The Kingdom is within, then without,” is more relevant for us because people can relate to it. You are going to go to Heaven when you die, so what are you going to do now? “The Kingdom is within you, then without.”

So that’s my message for the Easter, then I will do a few more videos in between and then definitely on the Pentecostal Day.

God Bless
