Namaste fellow spiritual travelers! Sucharita welcomed us on the Powertime Practice call this Saturday morning, April 27, 2019, by showing us a statue of Lord Hanuman, the monkey-faced god. Hanuman has his foot on top of another being, who is Saturn, who rules Saturdays. These beings will speak to our collective minds. Saturn is the god who doles out karma and Hanuman is one of the few gods that can control Saturn. Sucharita talked about the 7 ½ year period of our lives when Saturn affects our moon sign and can make things difficult, as well as a 19 year period when Saturn is your main planet of influence!
She recommends that everyone get an astrology reading, available at AstroVed, Lord Hanuman represents the highest self esteem. One way to honor Saturn is to light a sesame seed oil lamp and chant his mantra-Om Sanicharaya Namaha. Saturn can help us out with all our responsibilities if we propitiate him. It is a blessing, although it be difficult at times. There is a program called the Ultimate Saturn Solutions Program offered on AstroVed. Sucharita also mentions a book that will help explain what Saturn’s energy is all about called The Greatness of Saturn by Robert Svoboda. This week is all about diving internally and raising our level of compassion. Donating to Dr. Pillai’s Tripura Foundation is a great way to be compassionate. You will see that what you give will come back to you!
There is an hour or so that occurs three times a day called the Saturn hora. Look at the Panchang on AstroVed or HoraWatch app to see when this occurs. Chant his mantra during this hour, or do something charitable. Chant to Hanuman Om Jaya Jaya Hanumantaya Namaha.

13TH MOON – KARMA BUSTING

The 13th Moon phase is called Pradosham, a karma-removing time. 1 1/2 hours before sunset through sunset is the most powerful time to pray to Siva to dissolve your bad karma. Hydrate a sivalinga by pouring water/milk/juice over it as you chant the karma busting mantra, Thiru Neela Kantam Makaral Shivayanama. Visualize blue light in your throat. Roll and break a coconut or lime(s) to remove karma.
14 MOON – GANESHA REMOVES OBSTACLES

Ganesha is especially very powerful and present on the 4th and 14th moon phases. Call on him to remove your obstacles by chanting his mantra, Om Gum Ganapataye Namaha. Roll and break a coconut or lime(s) to remove obstacles and karma.
