Jupiter Enters Aquarius: April 2021

“Jupiter is a very benevolent planet. He is also called Guru, and he represents compassion, purity and ability to do good things. Jupiter is the archetype for the highest intelligence, which is processed as the Yellow or Golden light in the Pineal Gland. The Pineal Gland is the manifestation center, which can transform uni-dimensional thoughts into three-dimensional matter such as home, car, or business.”  ‒ Dr. Pillai

After the Sun, Jupiter is the next largest celestial body in our solar system.

Jupiter enters Aquarius on April 5, 2021 in North America and on April 6, 2021 in Asia.

Jupiter is a planet that supports positivity and optimism in our lives. He is sometimes called “the great benefic.” None of the other planets are inimical toward him. In particular, he can bring us success in these areas:

  • Ability to Attract Access to Enlightened Teachings and Excellent Teachers
  • Trust in God / Higher Power
  • Faith (Dr. Pillai defines faith as “utter positivity”)
  • Nurturing Abilities as Parents or Teachers
  • Honesty / Good Ethics
  • Wealth and Prosperity Consciousness
  • Willingness to Experience Surplus / Abundance
  • Generosity / Willingness to Share
  • Higher Education / Ongoing Training
  • All Matters Related to the Law and Legal Field
  • All Matters Related to Banking and Government Compliance with Finances

A simple mantra for Jupiter that Dr. Pillai has shared for everyone to use is:

Om Gurave Namaha

Jupiter Is Especially Active in 2021:

Jupiter normally spends about one year in a Zodiac sign when he is staying direct (appears to in a forward motion when viewed from Earth). However, in 2021, Jupiter will be more active and trigger more energetic shifts for us throughout 2021.

From our view on Earth, during 2021 Jupiter will appear to go retrograde (move backward) and then go direct again. In that process, he will shift back and forth between Aquarius and Capricorn.

This is the play-by-play of Jupiter’s subsequent 2021 movements after he enters Aquarius in April, 2021:

  • Jupiter will go retrograde while in Aquarius on June 20, 2021 (the same day as the Solstice and Father’s Day) in both North America and Asia.
  • Jupiter retrograde will enter Capricorn on September 14, 2021 in both North America and Asia.
  • Jupiter will go direct while in Capricorn on October 18, 2021 in both North America and Asia.
  • Jupiter will enter Aquarius on November 11, 2021 in both North America and Asia.

Jupiter’s movements always have considerable impact for all of us. It is said the positive transformations Jupiter can bring into our life can last a lifetime. This year is a good period to deepen and increase our efforts for positivity as Jupiter does radiate an overall optimistic energy. In Roman times, Jupiter was called Jove, and our English word jovial comes from that.

In addition, he will have added impact for some people.

If Jupiter is a current major (dasa) or minor (bhukti) planet of influence:

Throughout our lives, different planets take turns being our major and our minor planet of influence. This is mathematically calculated based on our birth chart. During their times of influence, the planets activate the sign and house they sit in within our birth chart as well as any signs or houses in our birth chart that they rule. If you do not know if Jupiter is either your current major or minor planet of influence, you can run a free Dasa Bhukti report at AstroVed, Dr. Pillai’s astrology site.

If Jupiter rules the star the Moon is in someone’s birthchart:

  • The star (Nakshatra) the Moon is in our birthchart is called our birthstar.
  • The 3 stars (Nakshatras) ruled by Jupiter are Punarvasu, Vishaka and Purva Bhadrapada
  • If you do not know your birthstar, you can run a free Birthstar report at AstroVed.

Expansive Jupiter Entering Aquarius, the Most Humanitarian Sign

“The more selfless service you do, the more successful you will become.” — Dr. Pillai

Aquarius is a Zodiac sign associated with service and humility. A Vedic symbol for Aquarius is a servant who is water-bearer or water-pourer. Jupiter entering Aquarius can help us consider “who can I help today?”

Thinking of others reduces our ego consciousness and helps us grow in humility. It is said without humility all spiritual progress stops. Just as water is essential for our physical life, humility is essential for our spiritual life.

Aquarius is an air sign, so Jupiter’s transit in to this sign will trigger some invigorating energies for fresh hope.

Jupiter’s presence in Aquarius will support those interested in philosophy and help people wanting to develop their talent in writing. This is a good period for networking, improving team play skills and being open to great help from friends offering reliable advice.

This is also a favorable time to develop analytical skills and hone good organizational abilities.

In addition, Jupiter in Aquarius can greatly assist those involved with charitable projects or social reform.

“Feeding hungry people brings happiness and blessings.” — Dr. Pillai

Jupiter’s Entry to Aquarius Occurs While in Dhanistha, a Star of Prosperity

Dhanistha is composed of four stars in the constellation of Delphini. In the sky, the stars Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta Delphini appear to form the head of a dolphin, a river and ocean mammal with a lively energy leaping into the air from the water. Dhanishta bridges across part of the signs of Capricorn and Aquarius.

In Vedic astrology a symbol associated with Dhanishta is a musical drum. Dhanishta is sometimes referred to as a star of symphony. This star has a special shakti energy or power to give abundance and fame.

While not all of us will become Grammy winners, while Jupiter travels in this star we can aspire to enjoy music and dance in our lives even if this is still more at home rather than in public settings at the moment.

Jupiter’s Activity in 2021 Can Open Up Inner Wisdom

One of Jupiter’s names is Brihaspati, the lord of prayer. He is considered a teacher to divine beings. He can give good counsel and help us to be open to those who are giving us sound advice.

Jupiter is considered to be the son of Rishi Angira, described in some texts as of the seven great rishis or sages of ancient times and one of the authors of the Rig Veda. Jupiter is said to share the spiritual knowledge of his father.

Jupiter’s increased activity this year can give us blessings to grow deeper in wisdom.

Jupiter in Science News

On March 18, 2021, NASA announced astronomers have now directly measured powerful stratospheric winds on Jupiter. After analyzing the aftermath of a comet collision from the 1990s researchers have found evidence of incredibly strong winds with speeds of up to 1450 kilometers (279 miles) an hour near Jupiter’s poles. The team said these winds could represent a “unique meteorological beast in our Solar System.”

According to their website, NASA has previously “authorized a mission extension for its Juno spacecraft exploring Jupiter. The agency’s most distant planetary orbiter will now continue its investigation of the solar system’s largest planet through September 2025, or until the spacecraft’s end of life. This expansion tasks Juno with becoming an explorer of the full Jovian system – Jupiter and its rings and moons – with multiple rendezvous planned for three of Jupiter’s most intriguing Galilean moons: Ganymede, Europa, and Io.”

We look forward to learning more about the great gas giant planet in our solar system!

Jupiter in Aquarius – Explore Dr. Pillai’s Teachings on Prosperity and Compassion

Some people may wish to explore Dr. Pillai’s teachings about the midbrain as Jupiter is related to the pineal gland.

Others may wish to experiment with some of Dr. Pillai’s teachings about prosperity consciousness. Everyone is welcome to watch some free YouTube videos about the prosperity sounds SHREEM BRZEE.

There is a saying in Vedic Astrology, “A good Jupiter erases a million sins.” This is a gentle reminder that all the planets, including Jupiter, like it when we perform acts of compassion. It is always a good gesture to do an act of kindness for others such as feed a hungry person or help an elderly or a disabled person or make a donation to Dr. Pillai’s charity Tripura Foundation or any other charity of our choice.

Some people like to make an extra gesture for Jupiter and do something to show support for educational efforts of others.

May Jupiter bless us during his stay in Aquarius with renewed positivity, increased wisdom, deeper commitment to our spiritual practices and overall joy and abundance in our material lives.  May we grow in service, humility and compassion. We ask Jupiter to bless all our teachers of the past, present and to come. We ask Jupiter to bless all our students of the past, present and to come. We thank him for the blessing of spiritual community and cheerful attitude. May Jupiter renew hope for all and teach all of us to use both spiritual and material power with wisdom.
