Sucharita welcomed us on the call after a bit of technical difficulty with the internet. Sucharita tells us what a pleasure it has been serving all of us! Sunday is the day we come together because the Sun represents our soul. The sun has recently transited into Cancer and that means we should focus on our mind. Cancer is ruled by the moon and this will give us clarity. Dr. Pillai has asked us to live in the moment. To do this, we must understand Time and how to use the energies that are available in each hour, day and month. We can shift our destiny by taking advantage of these energies (time shaktis). This week ahead is the energy of the 8th moon and this month (Aadi) is all about the Goddesses. The Goddesses are here to destroy negativity. Connect with the Goddesses on the 8th waxing moon!

Here are some things to do at home to honor Vishnu:
- Observe Fast without water (if you have a medical condition, follow the advice of your medical practitioner, as it is not suitable for everyone to do a full-day or partial-day fast.)
- Seed a Tulsi plant, water it or offer prayers to a Tulsi plant (Vishnu is fond of Tulsi.)
- Drink Tulsi tea
- Wear a Tulsi mala
- Chant a simple mantra for Vishnu, “Om Namo Narayanaya,” and offer light and incense to a Maha Vishnu Yantra
- Become conscious of your thoughts – conceive of unlimited money and success in all ventures
- Participate in 11th Moon rituals
- Donate fruits and green gram
- Feed cows with greens

Ganesha’s 14th Moon
Remember that Dr. Pillai has said that 2017 is continuing to be a year of Ganesha. Ganesha is especially very powerful and present on the 4th and 14th moon phases. Call on him to remove your obstacles by chanting his mantra, Om Gum Ganapataye Namaha. Roll and break a coconut or lime(s) to remove obstacles and karma. Learn how.
