Good Saturday morning fellow spiritual aspirants! Sucharita welcomed us on the Powertime Practice call this morning January 12, 2019. She says we are in the energy of time, which is a power or shakti that help to serve us in the highest and best ways.
This coming week we will be honoring a god called Kubera or The Banker in Heaven. He is the one who can help us to multiply our wealth. Dr. Pillai is giving us an opportunity to honor Kubera, Vishnu and Lakshmi on January 16/17, 2019. (She mentions that we should always be looking at our AstroVed calendars, which is now offered for simply the cost of the shipping! Learn about the services for Kubera, Vishnu and Lakshmi. Lord Kubera is associated with a series of numbers which are located on his yantra: 27, 20, 25, 22, 24, 26, 23, 28, and 21.
The archetypal energies are forms of light and energy. If we pay attention, we may see different colors and lights that are associated with Kubera, Lakshmi and Vishnu. This is how we can tell if we are connecting with these gods/goddesses. Here is a link to a YouTube video of Kubera’s mantra chanted 108 times: and another called “Making Kubera to Love You”. The manta for kubera yantra is: ”Om Yaksha Rajaya Vidmahe Vaishravanaya Deemahe Tanna Kubera Prachodayat”
In our meditation today, Sucharita asked us to think of an amount of money that we would like to manifest. First, we prepare an “elementalization” in our meditation. We concentrate at the root chakra, or Mooladhara (earth), then the naval chakra (water), then the heart chakra (light), next the throat chakra (air) , then the mid-brain or 3rd eye chakra (space). At the root chakra we offer food to the gods. The naval chakra gets water, the heart wants light in the form of a ghee lamp, the throat gets incense, and finally, the 3rd eye gets flowers.
When we begin to receive what we want to manifest, through the help of the gods and goddesses, it is essential that we give back to our fellow humans in need, either by service or tithing. An easy way to tithe is to donate to Tripura Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded by Dr. Pillai in 1989 with a mission is to care for, feed, educate and support children, elderly and all those in need globally.
The sun is transiting into the 10th house which is related to career and job, on January 14, 2019. This is the sign of Capricorn which is also the sign of ancient spiritual practice. You may be drawn to using a yantra in your meditation and spiritual practice. Yantras are available through Pillai Center and Astroved.

The 13th Moon phase is called Pradosham, a karma-removing time. 1 1/2 hours before sunset through sunset is the most powerful time to pray to Siva to dissolve your bad karma. Hydrate a sivalinga by pouring water/milk/juice over it as you chant the karma busting mantra, Thiru Neela Kantam Makaral Shivayanama. Visualize blue light in your throat. Roll and break a coconut or lime(s) to remove karma.
14 MOON – GANESHA REMOVES OBSTACLES
