13th Moon for Karma-Clearing | May 2 & 16

After karma removal during this time, you may feel that something is lighter – maybe first in your mind. You might feel like you’re letting go of a terrible burden or obstacle that subconsciously kept you from manifesting what you truly wanted. When karma is removed, you can feel happier and lighter, and you might have a better idea of your goals.

Goddess Lakshmi is directly associated with your special goals. Even when you have your own goals in mind, Goddess Lakshmi and Shreem Brzee will reorganize your goals and make them more powerful so that they become easier to attain.

She will also bring you better results from these new goals, rather than those that you were able to conceive on your own – because the Goddess has no limits.

This positive outcome can also happen when you clear your slate. You’ll experience new, happier beginnings every time you do Karma removal during these powertimes. In fact, better, bigger things are usually blocked by limited thinking or bad Karma. And most of the time we’re not able to conceptualize a grandiose reality because of our Karma. So Karma removal is a huge part of acquiring wealth.

What to do on the 13th Moon

  • Chant “Brzee” or “Shreem Brzee” at the throat (where karma is stored) 108 times
  • Practice the Surrogate Spiritual Technique to release Karma

Narasimha Jayanti (Narasimha’s Birthday) | May 3

Narasimha is an incarnation or Avatar of Vishnu who manifests himself as a powerful God with a head of a lion, and the body of a human. He is also the consort of Goddess Lakshmi who brings abundant wealth.

Narasimha Jayanthi is Narasimha’s birthday. The birthday of an archetype, God, or Divine being is a powerful time to connect with them. During this time, they’re more likely to help you because the energy and available frequencies are more conducive to the blessings they offer.

Although Narasimha is fierce, he is also very loving to his devotees. Narasimha can assist righteous people who are trying to help the world. After all, we don’t see clearly how the future is going to evolve. So it’s beneficial to ask for Narasimha’s help and pray to him, especially on this day. You can play his mantra to call upon him and invoke his blessings.

It’s important to remember that we are not able to physically see the Gods or archetypes because we may be limited by our senses and Karma, which don’t allow us also to see the subtle realities. However, we may see them in meditation or have thoughts about them. At this time, do your best to connect with Narasimha because he offers abundant help, beauty, victory, and protection from dark forces, negative people, and difficult situations.

What to Do on Narasimha Jayanti (Narasimha’s Birthday)

Full Moon (Chitra Purnima) | May 4

Chitra Purnima, the first Full Moon of the Tamil New Year, is an auspicious day for erasing old karma and starting fresh with new creations and manifestations. This Moon honors Chitragupta, and at this time his energy is more powerful. Chitragupta’s job is to maintain the good and bad records of everyone on Earth in a heavenly database known as the Akashic records. Inside this eternal record book of our good and bad actions are hidden karmic seeds that compel us to act and behave as we do.

Chitra is a nakshatra or a constellation that is in both Virgo and Libra. It’s a very powerful time to do something big and recreate your life. During this time, you can let go of bad Karma from past lives, which you may not remember, but are very much active in your consciousness.

Feeding the poor and underprivileged on this day can help you gain Chitragupta’s blessings to help you erase negative karma. These acts of kindness not only make you feel amazing, but they also bring you merits and good Karma – and everything desirable comes from good Karma. In fact, we cannot do anything positive unless we have acquired some merits. The blessings of the Divine also bring good karma, a good vision, a clearer mind, and more clarity.

What to Do on Chitra Purnima

  • Pray to Chitragupta to help you remove bad karma and guide you as you seek transformation
  • Feed those in need
  • Join the Shreem Brzee Full Moon Immersion for 2 hours of ceremony

Shreem Brzee Fridays | May 5, 12, 19 & 26

Friday is a very powerful day for Venus, the planet who rules Fridays. The Goddess controls Venus, so when you pray to her on Friday when her energy is extra active, she will bless you. During this time, the frequencies of Venus are present in your life. When you’re connected with these frequencies, acquiring more wealth is possible.

If you feel Venus in your birth chart is not very strong and is not bringing you what you want, you can pray to Goddess Lakshmi. Reach out to her to deepen your connection with her and planet Venus.

The planets are within us so it’s important to honor them in a special way. There is so much information in the cosmos and universe, and it comes to us through the planets. They also convey messages to us about our past. If you believed in poverty in the past and it was hard for you to think thoughts of abundance, you can get rid of those thoughts by praying to Venus and Goddess Lakshmi. This will help you begin thinking in a beautiful, auspicious way that allows you to conceive your desires.

To access additional Venus energy, you can perform your spiritual practices during Venus hora (hour). Venus hora on Friday is considered a double powertime, as it radiates heightened energy from Venus and Lakshmi to support your manifestations. Find the Venus horas in your local area through the free AstroVed Assistant app (under Astrology -> Hora Watch).

Anuradha Star Day | May 6

Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth, was born on a day when the Moon was in Anuradha, a constellation in sidereal Scorpio, which makes this a special powertime for wealth attainment. This is also a powertime for the Divine being Vishwamitra, who revealed the sound “Brzee” to Dr. Pillai. Dr. Pillai revealed that he was Vishwamitra in a past life, and the sound came to him through a special Nadi astrology reading.

You can also invoke Lord Vishnu during this time because he’s always with Goddess Lakshmi. There are chants called “Kanakadhara chants” which praise Vishnu. Goddess Lakshmi is happy to hear praise and beautiful thoughts about her husband, and she can bless you with gold when you please her in this way.

On Anuradha Star Day, you can light a lamp or a candle and offer the light to Goddess Lakshmi. Mother’s Day | May 14

Dr. Pillai always says “Whether your mother is living (or deceased), you need to have a positive connection with her, because the blessing from your mother is very, very powerful to make you a happy, successful person.” So, we always want to be grateful for her at the very least in our hearts.

Mother’s Day is a good time to celebrate and honor your Earthly mother, build a deeper connection with the Divine Mother, and seek her blessings.

The mother archetypes, including Mother Mary and Goddess Parvati, are available to you with abundant energy and unconditional love. It’s very hard to support life without love because love is God, according to Dr. Pillai.

If your mother is alive, take time on Mother’s Day to show her love and gratitude, even if your relationship is strained. Dr. Pillai says no matter your attitude to your living or deceased mother, the mother’s soul deeply loves you and cares for you.

If your mother has crossed to the heavenly realms, you can do Tarpanam to her and express your appreciation for the life she has given you.

What to Do on Mother’s Day

  • Pray to the Divine Mother for blessings of compassion and love
  • Express gratitude to your Earthly mother, whether living or deceased

The 11th Moon is associated with Vishnu, the consort of Lakshmi and bestower of wealth, health, & happiness. It’s ideal to pray to Lord Vishnu on the 11th Moon for blessings of abundance. It also pleases him when we fast or eat vegetarian food on these days.

New Moon for Ancestral Healing | May 19

The New Moon is the ideal time to heal your ancestral patterns and offer ancestral rituals like Tarpanam.

It’s also an ideal time to release unwanted thoughts that no longer serve you.

Trying to manifest on the New Moon is often unsuccessful because the mind is not capable of conceiving a grandiose reality, even when you have desires you wish to fulfill. Instead, the New Moon is ideal for meditating and renewing your body, mind and spirit.

Again, the New Moon is a very auspicious time to perform Tarpanam, because the veil between the Heavenly and Earthly realms becomes thinner, allowing easy communication with our ancestors.

We often think the thoughts of our ancestors, because they imprint karmic patterns into our consciousness. These inherited ‘soul genetics’, as Dr. Pillai refers to them, speaking to us and they can often send us thoughts of fear, poverty, scarcity or loss. Connecting with our ancestors and performing Tarpanam can help relieve us from these negative thoughts, beliefs and behaviors.

We can love our ancestors without having to share their negative thoughts. However, they might still be suffering from these thoughts, and this is especially apparent if those types of thoughts keep coming to you. Honoring them through Tarpanam instills peace within them and invites them to help you in a very powerful way, allowing thoughts of fear and scarcity to disappear.

What to Do on the New Moon

  • Pray to your ancestors to ask for karmic relief, and ask Lord Vishnu to help them go to the light and higher realms
  • Practice Tarpanam (ancestral rituals) at home or experience our year-long done-for-you Tarpanam rituals
  • Meditate
